@changrider That is what all Heavy Duty trucks cost. Whenever you see someone driving a Diesel Pickup, they most likely paid over $50,000 for it if it was brand new. The majority of people who buy trucks like this are farmers or people who have big boats or tow 10,000 pounds or more.
$62K is an insane amount for a work truck! I can find many very nice used work trucks for tens of thousands less. Which kind of makes the fuel mileage issue, well, a non-issue. I can buy a lot of gasoline with the $40K-$50K I save on a good used work truck. Not even counting the thousands saved on insurance and property taxes.
@alpineace2003 A "true" work truck does not have a mega cab or leather seating. Most don't even have diesel motors. All of the work trucks I have driven are basic trucks that have nothing in them other than A/C and a radio.
noisy? those are to quiet! and they get 17 - 18 once broken in. if u never use the truck for heavy hauling and work like it should the motor takes over 100 k to break in. i think 17.5 on a stock truck is pretty good! (thats what im geting)
the only reason you would get a mega cab is cuz of the room and the only reason you would go with the cummins is cuz you what the power not the gas milege ...
Awesome truck but 62k!!!! Yeah, I'm sure dodge will have plenty available at that price... Lol
