As soon as good people get into positions of power and responsibility they seem to think they have a responsibility to SPIN rather than truth. Cycling is dangerous as hell! That's why so few people cycle to work. Look at Europe, 1000 km of bike lanes in Berlin equals 1/3 of trips via bicycle - here 214 km of lanes equals 3% of trips via bike. Lets get real please; how are we going to argue against big auto with their office towers full of marketing gurus with this twisted logic?
