anyone knows about the music usied in this series?
I recognized one of the tracks as "I want to marry a lighthouse keeper", performed by the English all-girl group "sunflower", which was also used in Stanley Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange" in 1971.
Still I am wondering about the jazzy opening theme, as well as the surf-influenced piece which can be heard when Julie Winters is questioning the old bum in her office (06:45-08:10)
You are so right! I was buying and reading all of the comics but they took a strange twist and though they were still titled: The Maxx, the stories had absolutely no mention of him or Julie.....not even Sara. I really do hope MTV puts it back on. There is also an online petition you can sign to have The Maxx put on DVD. MTV put Aeon Flux, The Head and others on DVD.....they should also do for The Maxx. Right? I'm looking forward to the movie!
Are you F---ing serious???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's awesome! It's about damn time! Can you believe there is a live action movie of THE MAXX in the works?
MTV (btw) has all episodes available on their main site for viewing from the U.S. I'm in Canada and can't view them, but those in the States punch in "the Maxx" on MTV's site search and voila! =) Lucky bastards ;)

This, and the Spawn series are the high point of superhero animation, in my opinion.

This is the original "motion comic" .. the new stuff today like the spiderwoman and "the Astonishing x-men" seems cheep compared to this..

I loved this. I remember buying a VHS copy but it was so inferior to the MTV version-so much edited out and the music was different in parts.
