  • need to be more agressive!!

  • Very nice driving

  • wut gen is the mr2?

  • @Super1Azteca3 >>>It's a 1991 (gen2) with a Greddy TD06 turbo and I/C.

  • @efabio oh ok cuz i have a 1987 (gen1)

  • how do you like that short shifter of yours?

  • count me in, I'm going to tackle those mountain road with blown shocks and bad brake. hehehe..

  • can you have a font mount intercooler on a mr2 ? or just a charge cooler in the back as i cant see an air to air intercooler working well in the back

  • @rs200000000000 The I/C is located at the RR side vent, the intake on LR. Airflow comes in the sides, and exits from "top" due to "negative pressure" behind rear window.

  • @rs200000000000 Actually you can cause Ive Done it Twice!!, first in my earlier mr2 an 87 aw11 3sgte swap, and now on my 91 sw20, but in order to do that u will have to sacrifice your trunk, I used 2 electric radiator cooling fans in front of the IC, a scoop on the trunk, and a custom grill where you have your MR2 emblem in the trunk, both times i used 30''X12''X3'' Intercoolers with 3'' Pipings, and believe it worked excellent!!!!

  • Nice driving ! actually like this...that's a really nice Hill-climb with allot of space .Whats your suspension setup if you don't mind ?

  • @sr1710nx ... Nothing really special: Intrax race spring w/ 2" drop, KYB struts, Porterfield R4S brake pads.

  • @efabio I though anything past 1'' upsets the suspension geometry? anyways good show.

  • @sr1710nx It does but depending the shocks set up it can help but still you will need rcas and adjustable end links plus many other things to correct the supension correctly. The guy on this video actually has good skill driving the wild mr2 and once you get used to your car you can use any setup possible w/o bothering you that much.

  • @tempeztad That's what I'm saying half the people who slam their cars do not correct the roll-height and induce positive camber on the mr2.I'm fast Either way stock or modified I have been racing mr2 and spec miata for a while,But even I would say oem setup and koni shocks Is the best overall setup, with lack of suspension stroke on cars lowered past 1'' the tires looses grip and bounces around specially on mountain climbs, fastest way to blow your shocks.

  • @sr1710nx For that very reason i took my eibach sportlines and used rev3 spring since they are a little lower than the rev2 plus they are linear and can be setup with any type of struts also to mention the car feels more predictable.

  • @tempeztad are you talking about the 93 springs? I was impressed with 93 springs over the tein S-tech that my car came with,I went through allot of shocks before I got the 93.If they only made linear lowering springs I would be all over it.

  • @sr1710nx Yup 93 springsmy current suspension setup atm is gr2 with 93 in front and rear, cusco rear sway stock sway front with twos r us adjustable links, new ball joints and prothane full kit and feels awsome but yeah with a set of koni yellows it would improve alot more but they are expensive as hell.About lower linear swift offer them but they are expensive

  • holy balls, this guy is pro. I still think i'd come close in my mr2 turbo too =)

  • nice drive

  • nice driving mate

  • Nice run. That looks like a lot of fun.

  • What kind of tuning does your car have mate?

  • TD-06 turbo, Greddy I/C, Blitz DSBC, Porterfield R4-S pads, open 3" exhaust/DP.

    I've learned it's about momentum & smoothness.

  • Looks like a nice clean tidy run. I wish we had hillclimbs as long as this in the UK.

  • sweet
