DenTel ... You owe me a box of tissues. The more I watch your videos, the more I miss the early years of TV when the networks aired entertainers with true talent. Your videos serve to remind us how good American programming USED TO be. Today, unfortunately, I'm downright angry and feel nothing but contempt for network executives who've substituted jaw-dropping stupidity for the truly talented artists/performers we used to know. Again. thanks for having & posting such wonderfully precious videos.
Just Amazing! You've managed to offer us two of the most beloved performers! Icing on the cake is that they're singing "Silver Bells," one of the loveliest Christmas songs ever written. Thanks so much for posting!
Diahann actually had to hold back to sing with Perry who never sang above a certain note, way too mellow for her,she needs to be free, sing at her own limits, she was a good singer.
I just directed a PBS concert special to air in August, which stars Diahann Carroll live in Palm Springs in her one-woman show, backed by the Pat Rizzo Orchestra. She is just a s beautiful as ever and an absolute delight to work with. Chip Miller/Director
i am so jealous you got to work with her @chipdaniel2! :) i saw that special a few months ago and i loved it...i always wanted to see Diahann live but haven't had the chance to (yet) so it was amazing to watch her....after all these years and she's still as stunning as ever. Miss. Carroll is truly the definition of flawless....Thank you for a wonderful job!!!
notice how Perry lets her voice shine! listen and watch as he holds the mike to her and sings softer than if he were singing alone. That's respect.
