Watcha taking bout Willis synister gates solos are good but a7x solos are played by 2 guitarist at the same time like if you have you and a buddy the solos aren't that hard to pull off but atreyu solos are played by only one person Dan Jacobs or if he feels jenorus hell let the other Guy play it but really a7x=2 people atreyu=1person so have you tryed playing atreyu solos by yourself their a pain in the ass

@mrkickass956 Atreyu's solo's = cakewalk compared to A7X's solo's... Just because A7X harmonizes a lick doesn't make it any easier to play. It's actually harder because you have to stay in time with the other guitarist. Plus, Syn's leads are much more technical than Dan's.

He's a very underrated guitarist, which is a real shame. Some of the best tapping I've heard is done by him. EVH and RR are obviously the best, but Dan Jacobs is the best tapper of this generation much how Trey Azagthoth was the best in the 90's

He is one of the few guitarist in that genre that solos and they sound awesome . Everybody in the metalcore scene play crappy solos and they all sound the same . Nobody today plays like dan and he's one of the few guitarist that actually switches from. Bridge to neck almost all guitarist today stay In the bridge pick up for solos including laiho !

@682382 When you play in the neck position, the guitar is not as sensitive to pick up mistakes or tonal issues. How does that make Laiho any less of a guitarist when he only uses a bridge pick up? And he is not a metalcore guitarist. A great metalcore guitarist is Oli Herbert from All That Remains. He uses all the functions on his guitar, not for handicap reasons, while staying original... But you are right about most metalcore guitarists having crapy solos. lol Cheers!

I love when people assume Dan Jacobs is credited for all of Atreyu's guitars. The reason Atreyu (guitar wise) is compared against A7X, or BfmV is because both Dan and Travis are decent guitarists, both do solos, and both write great riffs.
