  • Great to see this! Clearly AE has got things right over the years to still be with us, stronger than ever and having easily outlived other systems & software. I've only been with it since the early 5.5 version (not to be confused with the CS 5.5 version!) when I stopped using Quantel's HAL Express and picked up AE. Still using it and still learning ...

  • Tutorial please!!

  • Nice ;)

  • Last time i saw that i laughphed soo hard i amlmost fell off my dinosaw

  • I was a little boy...

  • 2:58 That f is a perv.

  • I'd really like to know what system they used, and specs and all that, and how long the render times actually took for these. If anyone could answer I'd really appreciate it. :)

  • lol I wasn't even born yet.

  • nice work pls. watch my video created in after effect tnx

  • oh man, that sax-a-ma-phone clip at the end is priceless.

  • I think that "priceless" is the nicest thing that I've heard said about it. ;-)

  • Actually, it is going to be 64 bit in their next release CS5.

  • yeah, but they are talking about this, since CS2. who knows, maybe you are right and it will truly happen. i would welcome this.

  • @fakeinc there was no after effects cs2

  • @fakeinc CoSO didn't sell it to Adobe. They sold it to Aldus, who eventually sold it to adobe. And After Effects is now only 64-bit, so what are you talking about??

  • Wow, A good friend (also a very gifted animator - thank you Miguel) just sent this to me. I was a beta sight for CoSA After Effects and that film reel animation ended up on the back of the first box (still have it). It was really my first attempt at digitally compositing something with the program. What memories. Thanks to whomever posted this.

  • Woow those guys are goood! :P

  • so what was the required configuration :)

  • Better than some people's reels I've seen

  • wow, its really wow compare to that time,

definitely these people are the pinnacle of motion graphics nowadays.

because at that time with very few tool and tech, they made this kind of composition means, really great,

    :Thumb up: (*****)

  • Yes indeed, what a long way it has come!!

  • I didn't realize AE had come such a long way in the past 16 years.

  • ..how I love 90's graphics

  • In 2000s graphics are far more realistic than at 90s...

  • roxonogueira i meant on computer generated graphics :D

  • from min 2 on: Now that's some nice Motion Typography! LOL

  • I prefered the Sax! ;P

  • And I bet some jackass kids can't even pull off any of these tricks and they call themselves motion graphic artists.

  • I remember watching this and early Pittard Sullivan demo reels and being blown away. I still have the original box and floppies for this version at work.

  • i bet you have the floppies at work

  • Suprisingly, I still people ("PROS") handing me this stuff to get a job NOW.

Honestly, a lot of the work on here is good/better than some of the people comming out of most "schools" today.

    Kudos

  • thats a pretty bold statement, anywhere you go there will be kids that just dont have it

  • wow

  • Oh wow... The degree to which this has all evolved is pretty staggering. But don't kid yourself, half of the stuff that is the "hotness" right now will be viewed through the same lens as most of this in 2026.

  • You've come a long way, baby.

  • omg. I can't believe this exists.

  • So 90s

  • cool!

  • yes! amazing. terrible :)

  • Wow i cant believe this is online! *FIRST COMMENT* :)
