Omark is very good, and has the potential to be amazing.  But keeping him in the nhl would hurt his development just as what happened with penner and gagner. He need to learn how to play north american hockey where there are not as many mistakes made and where you won't be able to overhandle the puck and go coast to coast whenever you want. Keeping him in the ahl is most likely doing nothing but helping, this is how great teams are built.
