The movie was originally supposed to come out on March 26th, but the release date was delayed so the movie could be converted into 3D also. The new release date is Friday, April 2nd and has versions in 3D and 2D. This movie is going to be a great remake and I'm looking forward to seeing the premier when it comes out :D

Looks intriguing. Though I think the Perseus actor looks a bit too modern, especially with his haircut. Harry Hamlin did have the better looks in the original in that regard.

I remember going to the drive in in the late 70s and seeing the original so why wouldn't I go see this. The quality is much better than the cheap stop motion of the original also. So naturaly I cannot wait for it to release!

@OriginalOrigins what has 300 done to greek mythology? If your argument is that it's inaccurate, I'd say that it's not meant to be. It's meant to be a primarily entertaining telling of the story. And having said that, it still manages to be fairly accurate, despite all the dramatisations. Yeah the Persians didn't have 100ft tall elephants and ephialtes was not a hunchback, but whoever wants the real story can go and study greek history. The movie merely exposes more people to it, which is good.
