David, loved your work on the Pale Blue Dot...I show it to everyone! I'm a filmmaker and own an HVX200a, and now I'm so jealous of you with this HPX2700. Do you own it or just renting? Beautiful footage btw.
I recommended 2700 to the company I work with and I use it as the default camera when I shoot for them. The 200 is a fantastic camera and Panasonic in general does a great job of implementing their features from their high end to mid range cameras. But I think they still have a ways to go in terms of technology for the professional filmmaking market (1920 overcrank, S35 sensor for example). Then again, it's never just about the equipment. I hope you enjoy your HVX200 :)
I should note, prior to the release of the 2700, my choice would have been the HPX3000 plus either the HVX200 or the (then upcoming) HPX170 for overcranking. Because the price point of the 2700 is lower than the 3000, I chose the 2700, despite its native 720 sensor. Nevertheless the 2700 is great for shooting on the fly and with a small crew.
I know why Beijing is great city. Because Beijing was Korean territory long long time ago...

The windows of the World Trade Center buildings are all tinted. The tallest building, Building 3, is almost finished and unoccupied.
