kindle fire! I for one like that it is a little smaller than the ipad. The extra weight of the ipod (and size) makes it not very practical to put in my purse. Plus, more web sites,etc are viewable with the kindle than the ipad.

i agree. I have a macbook which beats pretty much everything that an ipad can do. I use the kindle for reading all the time, and macbook for everything else (pdf reader, flash reader, movie player, etc.). I think kindle beats.
@godrox Yeah, one of the guys who went to Haiti with me in July used his. He did a little email and Facebook stuff. I thought it was super cool... up until then I didn't know the 3G stuff worked worldwide for free. The world would explode if iPad offered that.
@mclanea Yeah, I didn't know that either until my dad did it. Pretty cool. Him and my mom would email back and forth like IM chat at times. Pretty cool communication tool when you're traveling in places like that.
