LD8 Block was never is a DTS STS, they were in the ESC SLS DeVille....LD8 is the lower HP block the L37 was in the STS DTS ETC

No its an ls4 5.3l "pinhead" unless they went through a shit ton of work to put a less powerful v8 under the hood. Stock gp gxp's came with the ls4 like the later model impala ss monte carlo ss and they lacrosse super.
