  • I hate tax cheats. I love Rachel and Bill.

  • I kind of can't fucking stand Bill Maher. I agree with damn near everything he says but he's maybe the smuggest most self-satisfied masturbatory comedian out there. No one smarmily laughs as their own jokes as much as he does. It's gross.

  • @johnpaxinos because republicans werent always batshit, the republican party has done a 180 in the last 40 years, my grandpa used to be a hardcore republican before the 60s and then Nixon/Reagan poisoned the party with crackpot theories on the economy and literally conserving nothing, i thought they were conservatives...

  • There is no time when we need a comedian to understand. not one.

  • Maddow Maher 2016

  • Maddow knows Maher well when she discribed him as having the personality of a volcan

his beliefs are as cold as spocks feelings and as foreign.

  • @beginization I can only view your comment advantageous to Maher's image.

  • Bill Maher is a true to life genius. He stands second only to George Carlin, who is the father of logic and reason in my opinion.

  • @k9mmilla78 Yeah except Carlin wasn't a dick just to be a dick amd wasn't as full of himself as Maher.

  • Yea President Oboma may be dissapointing to Progressives (like me) but look at the alternative in 2008 (Mc-Cain/Palin). LOL Enough said on that. At one time McCain was a sencible MODERATE Republican. Before he starting sucking on the tit of lunacy all Tea- Baggers seem to suck on daily.

  • @Lordes No, the interpretation is in your heart, ain't no bigotry in mine. Except when I get teamed up with ESL Taiwanese students for business projects at college who have somehow passed the English capacity test but cannot communicate at an elementary school level and my grade suffers. Plus you fail to see what I find to be humorous irony in calling the Republican party faggots when it's clear that they are all self loathing closeted homos.

  • @Lordes I'm sorry you're so indoctrinated otherwise. I don't want your purchase of my explanation, and I doubt other than opposing the Republicans I have anything in common with your political beliefs, especially if you're hypersensitive. It's only bigotry in your head, not mine.

  • Democrats have a serious problem with being in power... First they get a democratic congress then a president and what happens?... yeah smoke some pot and have a Twinkie and forget about the midterm election?.. How can a republican moron win in New Hampshire and effectively shut down health care reform? How...

democrats point fingers at dumb republicans but that really takes the dumbass hat.

How about democrat voters just get out and vote...every time... or you are going to get fucked!

  • @Lordes I have no qualms hating the right-wing or calling them faggots. It's your decision to interpret the world faggot as something homophobic, when I mean it to be someone who's an idiot asshole. "Moron" doesn't quite have the same fortitude.

  • America has got to get rid of the right-wing and fast, or we will never recover from this financial mess we are in.

  • Why, Rachel? Look for Ryan running in an election near you, soon!

  • It's tough to call America the greatest country in the world like you always do when half of your country are right wing religious faggots

  • @DanimalLawlz Wow, that is wrong on so many levels.

  • Hmm, the top tax rate is 35%, folks like Buffet and Gates pay around 18%? It's not the rate, it's the code. A decent accountant destroys the code. We need more IRS agents to enforce the code? Take the loopholes out, reduce the IRS, lock in the rates and be done with it. Is anyone really listening to the Debt commision? Democrats want higher rates on the rich, they won't pay any more. Republican's want less, the rich won't pay any less. The tax code is wrong, banter like this is a joke.

  • Seriously lol. Are Americans truly that stupid? Clinton had a projected surplus. Then the American voter votes in a GOP Congress. GWB totaly destroys this surplus & sends us down the road to budget oblivion & the American voter votes in a GOP Congress & Senate to help it along the way faster. The American voter votes in a Progressive then 2 years later votes in a GOP Congress. Cycle of stupidity on a scale never seen by any one generation before. The typical American voter is a major MORON lol.

  • @MichaelPAUSA FYI, the Republican House and Senate brought Clinton to the middle, they shut down the govt, and Clinton agreed to balance the budget. One might also note that the Bush era spending spree was with a Democratic House and Senate. To answer your question, "Are American's that stupid?" It would appear so, you are.

  • @fmckadoo Republicans controlled the White House, both houses of Congress, AND the SCOTUS from 2000 - 2006, a time that saw the national debt nearly double. The president's post confers the power to VETO any spending bills, so blaming democrats for Bush's signing the spending bills is silly. And let's not forget that Bush, along with his dad and Reagan are responsible for nearly $11 of the $14.4 trillion of our national debt.

  • @mrbhave Veto? Reps own 11 trillion? Supreme Court? The spree I speak of was late in Bush 2s term, while guys like Frank had oversight, the pocketbook was in Pelosi's hands. Reid held the Senate and Bush continued a war with no end.

And then we have HOPE, Obama doubles down on the war, tells the FED to start printing money and borrows another trillion. Reid produces a health care bill that cuts 500b from Medicare, increases costs and will likely bankrupt the nation.

How did the Tax Veto go?

  • @fmckadoo You must live in a very small angry world right where you feel you have to lie and exaggerate in order to be heard..I bet you even believe Sarah Palin is somewhat intelligent and the Fox News is telling you "the truth"... oh yeah when you support the republicans you support the millionaires that screw you over but you're not part of them. They lie to you every day and you know it..and in turn you feel the right to lie to everyone else.. You're not a millionaire so stop fighting for them

  • @fmckadoo Veto? Yes, Bush could have vetoed any and all spending bills that his so-called "conservative" principles should have told him to, but he didn't, because he's a statist, just like the rest of the neo-cons. Supreme Court? Yes, the point was to say that republicans had EVERY opportunity to do as they say--and they failed like they have failed at fiscal conservatism for the last 40 years.

  • @fmckadoo Spree? Here, do some research with factual numbers, not Fox News propaganda: treasurydirect(.)gov/govt/reports/pd/histdebt/histdebt.htm. Unless a majority of the Congress can override, presidents can ALWAYS veto spending bills, so bad on Bush. Besides, he started the unconstitutional war. Why would anyone expect him to end it? Hope? Well, Obama is an utter disappointment. He reminds me a lot of Bush, except he's smart.

  • @fmckadoo "Reid produces a health care bill that cuts 500b from Medicare, increases costs..." Ok, time to rethink what you wrote here. How does CUTTING money amount to INCREASING costs? We're already broke. When Reagan took office, we were the greatest creditor nation in the world. When he left, we were (and remain) the greatest debtors. Interest on the debt is WORSE THAN TAXES because we get NOTHING FOR OUR MONEY. Thank you, republicans. From a pissed off libertarian.

  • @mrbhave You have me confused with someone else, no FOX fan here, Palin scares me, Hannity, Beck, Rush.. are nothing but rating whores pushing idelogogy. But so are Ed, Rachel, O'Donnell etc. I don't hammer Rachel and Maher because I want a neocon. I do it because they have a loose grasp of the truth and speak of rates when we should talk of code changes. Reid cut Medicare to hide the expense of a HC plan that has no hope of controlling costs, no govt option and was a better bill in the House.

  • @mrbhave FYI, I think Morning Joe (your channel), NY Times, Wallstreet Journal, NPR, CNN, Washington Post, Daily Beast, Huffington Post and Politico can all provide information. All have slants here and there but the truth is included. The real truth is on CSPAN 1,2,3, watch our officials at work. I know I'm dissapointed every time I do. In short, don't watch Prime time MSNBC or FOX and think you have any idea of what is really going on. You won't.

  • Obama is weak. He is really a republican.

  • im glad i subbed, great job dude

  • @03:29 he said 'gangbangers'.

  • Republicans, ami'right?

  • I'm so glad this information is available. There is hope.

  • Fascism is coming to America. Sneaking under the door wrapped in a flag and pushing a cross ahead of it. Beautiful America, the best dream man ever dreamed, might yet become mankind's worst nightmare. America needs all the robust liberal voices it can get.

  • funny how the trolls' comments are from "bb1televator" and "tekavolver"...coincidence? i think not. pretty obviously the same brainless person

  • @auwii524 It's the young republicans pulling those tricks

  • @auwii524 What you are experiencing is pure delusion. BTW, I consider a "troll" to be a person who makes inflamatory remarks...like you just did.

Oh, such an eloquent and substantive point you've just made. /sarcasm

What do you really have to say in defense of your savior Obama? Anything that doesn't involve and ad hominem attack on me?

  • Another slave for the mill. That's their abortion agenda.

  • @Thayer79

Exactly, I've been saying this for a long time. The conservatives really want abortion ended because more labor drives down wages. The depths of cynicism.

  • Tsunami Bomb's "Marionette" = Obama

  • It's just hard to listen to all this nonsense. As far as taxes is concerned, what do you call when you're cohersed to give up your hard earned money? Thievery! The other misconception is that taxes run the country. If they do the math, they will realize that taxes do not pay for the government spending. Taxes only pays interest to the Federal Reserve, period. And where does the FR get its money? By magic, just by punching some digital numbers. It would be great if those printed digital money...

  • better than the republicans holding all the cards...wait and see how you like that...

  • So the video is Rachel and Bill discussing republicans barely mentioning President Obama. and the top two comments are bashing Obama... some republican paranoia expressed in spam...

  • GREAT segment. Every time Bill is on Rachel's show, or Rachel is on Bill's show, it's a must see. If Rachel ever experiments with a hetero relationship, she should hook up with Bill.

  • @revelwoodie Well I love Rachel and Dog forbid she ever experiment with a heterosexual relationship!!! Maher is rather articulate and bright too...

  • Bush was the Iron Fist. Openly and he made no attempt at hiding it. Obama is the Iron Fist within the Velvet Glove. As such far more dangerous than Bush ever was.

  • government serves the rich. the rich don't need social services.

  • Obama = Black Bush

  • Im getting sick of seeing this Paul Ryan guy.

Im getting sick of this false notion that politicians now are just soulless trumped up businessmen, meekly steering the economy towards *economic growth* rather than other markers of social health and flourishing. Douche Bags!

Paul Ryan, you irritating douche. Piss off.

  • I think she is a very attractive lesbian.

  • @nontheistdavid Yeah, there is something about her that gives me a chubby.

  • While the idea may seem unpopular, I think Obama should have cut EVERYTHING Paul Ryan wanted to cut. Just include a simple clause saying if it caused the GDP to go down a given amount, an alternative Democrat plan would be unanimously approved. Then get some proper social programs going, slash defense and get this gong show of a country straightened out.

  • These two would make for an awesome orgy in my bed

    =3

  • @TAz69x I don't think I'd like an orgy... But I'd love a looooong brunch (with cocktails :)

  • These things would not be happening if the people who they are so concerned about, the old and the middle classes, had not elected the current crop of conservative candidates. Frankly they deserve all they get. Let's hope they enjoy reaping the whirlwind.

  • I think she has a crush on him.

  • @TheIllegalPotato: You do know she's a lesbian, right? Or do you mean a "mind" crush or an "intellectual" crush?

  • @jezmundberserker It's more like a "man" on man crush.....lol But with a chic...

  • @jezmundberserker I'm a straight woman, but I'm totally gay for her

  • @Boobalopbop Everyone is gay for Rachel. lol XP

  • @Boobalopbop: I have no clue what to say. She looks like a dude and I'd have said "I'm totally gay for her" if it were not for the fact that she's a woman. So, I'll say this: "she's a good looking woman who looks a bit like a dude. And if she were ever to go straight (just a joke) I'd be first in line."

  • @jezmundberserker I think she has a pretty smile and laugh, great sense of humor and hella smart.

  • Republicans pull the strings and Obama dances...

  • @bb1televator So what most important for you? Soldiers, teachers and other public workers actually getting their salary and being able to pay their rent and get food or being right?... Since the democratic voters and the democratic political leadership abandoned Obama just because some crazy republicans scream on Fox, Obama have been in a impossible position dealing with lame democrats and completely insane republicans...

what do you want him to do?

  • @SquirrelFromGradLife The alternative would be to let those teachers, soldiers, and other public workers know what the republicans are up to. People get angry and the republicans start taking heat. BTW weather it was freezing government or cutting spending, both situations had bad outcomes for government workers, but by caving to the cuts we've now fired public workers indefinitely. What's most important to me, was KEEPING government jobs in the long run.

  • @bb1televator Everybody knows what the republicans are up to.Look at Wisconsin.

Problem is that Obama is going to get blamed for what someone else did in typical American political style. Blame somebody else and the finger pointing will commence leaving the democrats running scared.

The real point is that things hadnt come to this if democrat voters had dropped the pot smoking Twinkie eating superior feeling nonsense for a moment and actually had voted not letting the republicans block anything

  • @SquirrelFromGradLife Actually, in the rest of the country, what most people know is what Faux News puts out. Also when the Dems had a majority rule along with a Democratic president, they were still all to happy to cave into republican fear mongering in the name of "bipartisanship." The voters already spoke loud and clear in 2008 and Dems disappointed in epic style. That's why were in this mess. The majority of Democrat politicians cave and that's all they do.

  • @bb1televator Its called the royaly abused Republican "Fillibuster" in the U.S. Senate. Thats why hardly any Progressive reforms got done in this country in the last 3 years. It only took one jughead Repub. in the U.S. Senate to fillibuster ANY bill passed up by the (then) controled Dem. Congress. All your favorite Repub. Sen. from some 1/2 ass hillbilly States blocking EVERY Progressive Reform Legislation Bill. Oboma just caved in after 2+ years of that shit. JFK he is NOT that is for sure.

  • @bb1televator why are you telling me and everyone else what we already know but in a very simplistic way?...

its hilarious that you believe a democracy to be non bipartisan... really... is that how democracy works? you get elected and then it turns into a dictatorship?...really...

Saying Obama failed after his election is downright disingenuous and you know that.

Never have so many reforms and changes been made in such short time and it really scared the republican bastards...

  • @SquirrelFromGradLife You've made a dumb assertion on my position. Where did I ever say democracy was unilateral? This isn't a black and white issue. What I'm saying is when republicans want something, they go to every extreme to get it, and the democrats cave or even end up siding with their position. That's not bipartisanship, that's unconditional surrender or even a betrayal. Don't you find it funny how the media paints bipartisanship to always seem to be more of an issue for the Democrats?

  • President Obama is SO disappointing.

  • @Tekavolver712

not nearly as much as bush who left the nation in utter shambles

  • @townsendjean the fact that we have to do the "not nearly as bush" makes it kinda depressing.
