This video is very sweet but did bring tears (happy tears). It is amazing how time does fly raising children. Why can't we just put bricks on their heads or something to keep them from growing up so fast.

I also had 2 small kids (2 and 7) who will forever feel the sting of his loss, especially during those milestones even though they have a great new dad. I love this song. I danced the mother/son dance at my son's wedding. I put my head on his shoulder and cried like a baby. I heard this song for the first time when he went into Basic Training for the Army. It really struck home at the time. I still cry every time I hear it. My daughter is getting married at the end of the month, and she is going to do the father/daughter dance with my husband, her father, to this song.

I love this song. I danced the mother/son dance at my son's wedding. I put my head on his shoulder and cried like a baby. I heard this song for the first time when he went into Basic Training for the Army. It really struck home at the time. I still cry every time I hear it. My daughter is getting married at the end of the month, and she is going to do the father/daughter dance with my husband, her father, to this song.

This song really makes me think about my parents. They have done such an amazing job raising me and teaching me to do the right thing. In less than two and a half years, I will be leaving to go to college. They always tell me how fast the last 16 years have gone by for them. I'll pray for them every day of my life after I am no longer living with them. Love you mom and dad!

This is the eve that my 24 year old son will go to Iraq to serve 15 months in the Army. He leaves behind a mother who has live her life for him, and a wife who adores him.
