I like how Jade came out with her final design but I sometimes think a character with the name "Jade" being pretty much entirely green in colour is a little bit cheesy. Maybe that's just the character designer in me talking though.

Can't decide whether I like her better or worse without the headband though.

The reason for changing jade, appears to be the wrong age, for someone who has to face such serios tasks.

it actually makes sense because the maker also made rayman and woof had rayman eyes and if you look at the graphics these are the rayman grapics... i glad they improved it

Pause at 2:25.... That crystal was a secret collectible in Rayman 3. Maybe this is why?

Woof looks seriously demented with those eyes. Definitely glad those weren't put in final version. And I have to agree, this version of Jade DOES look bug eyed. XD

I didn't say Ubisoft made Ico.What I implied was that a game, made by someone else similiar to what they were making didn't make enough money, so to avoid this little pitfall, they revamped it slightly.

Wait why would Ubisoft care whether ICO was financially successful or not. SCEA seemed not to care, since they gave the green light for Shadow of the Colossus. Really I doubt Ubi would care whether or not it would be a sucess in regards to releasing a game like this.

The main issue with Ubisoft is the desire to create artistically great games, and also make enough money to stay in buisness.

This is why for every BG&E and PoP game we get, we're going to get like 20 Tom Clancy games.

Apparently, the lack of financial success for ICO caused Ubisoft to make the more action-packed version that got released.

I remember when this video first came out and i had no idea that it was going to be called beyond good and evil. I was so blown away. It looked like such a diverse and emmersive story. The visuals had a neat style and the music was awesome. Sigh*

Of all the stuff I've seen about BG&E, I have never seen this. Of course I've seen bits and pieces of this footage in msuic videos, but never this video in its entirety. Thank you so much for showing this amazing footage, there's so much different from the BG&E we know now. Even the way Jade sneaks was different. This will be a valuable addition to the BG&E Youtube group.
