Great guitar, great songs, ('orrible camera work!) - and great promise. Never got their true recognition, but a superb band and some very innovative song-weiting. I still love 'em nearly 40 years after learning their folky riffs!
There's really no need to debate that... Lizzy were a trio for quite sometime... and from the beginning in the late 60's Wishbone Ash had had twin lead... so Wishbone Ash
Great to see Stanley Unwin at the beginning!!! If you dont know Professer Stanley Unwin youtube him for some great laughs. He also done an album with the Small Faces about 1968 "Ogdens Nut Gold Flake"
Saw the Ash a coupla years ago in the Art Centre in the Bont. Although Andy said it was great to be back in Swansea, not exactly geographically correct. But who gives a rat's arse if you're not a Ponty boy. Great band back in the time, great gig when I saw them last.
jezz awsome ..argus was brill jailbait reminds me of early rory gallagher ....its a standard all the amateur groups try and copy ..............airborne forever
WTF - Is this song that I know? Or this a NEW Song that a cross basic rock blues song that fits between Boston, Thin Lizzy, and Zepplin, The Cult, Kiss, Sabbeth.
It almost sounds like 707 with a plain Cult vocal.
So - is that an original? Whatever it is that's Kick ASS. Instant Classic.
I saw Wishbone Ash in Hull,East Yorkshire in my youth at the city hall. The,"Orange" amps they used defined their sound and have influenced me over my life as has their incredible guitar harmonies both written and improvised. They have never been bettered IMHO.

What a terrific rocker -- and I LOVE seeing the drummer out front. More bands ought to do that.
