Can someone clear this up for me? This series takes place after the adventures of sonic the hedgehog, but WHAT HAPPENED??? Why is Robotnik in control? Is there any correlation between this and "adventures"? And why does Tails seem so much younger than in "adventures"?

I love how this series reminds me of the old Sega Genesis games. Those were some good times. God that duo with Sonic and Tails made me think of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and 3 with Tails getting in the way most of the time, but helping. Lol.

I hope they make an even better cartoon series that doesn't just show Sonic's story, but the lives Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and all those other characters. Something new but with a classic feeling too it.
