Jinnah did compromise on his demand for separate homeland during final round of talks in 1946 but in fact principally he demanded weakening of central power of Delhi(capital) and demanded more autonomy for the provinces. First, no doubts that Jinnah was a great leader. He was. He was just too ambitious about creating Pakistan. Read Pamela Mountbatten's diaries if you wanna get an insight into his life. All the mass murders and unhuman activities only happened during and after the partition. Hindus and Muslims lived in the same villages and fought together for the independence before 1947. Mr. Jinnah never saw Muslims as an equal part of India and never tried to make his followers (Muslim League) love the nation.

Jinnah did compromise on his demand for separate homeland during final round of talks in 1946 but in fact principally he demanded weakening of central power of Delhi(capital) and demanded more autonomy for the provinces. Gandhi offered Jinha to be head of state, which was opposed by Nehru. Only then did Jinha demanded separate Pakistan.
Regional autonomy was promised to regions of Pak but after independence of Pak, military junta denied this and concentrated power and money in their own hands

First, no doubts that Jinnah was a great leader. He was. He was just too ambitious about creating Pakistan. Read Pamela Mountbatten's diaries if you wanna get an insight into his life. All the mass murders and unhuman activities only happened during and after the partition. Hindus and Muslims lived in the same villages and fought together for the independence before 1947. Mr. Jinnah never saw Muslims as an equal part of India and never tried to make his followers (Muslim League) love the nation.

@yaalii1 Pakistan has been struggling just as much as any developing country struggles. Terrorism DID rise its head in Pakistan for 5-6 years and now its almost over in Pakistan. There were hardly any suicide attacks in Pakistan in June. Hopefully, terrorism will be next to none within next 2 years.
On the other hand, your GREAT INDIA's problem are only going to increase, there are so many rebel movements in Indian than anywhere else in the world COMBINED!
