They are the ancient transformers as you said in the last review, and they combine into Nexus Maximus\ Nexus Prime, and Alpha Trion split them up into the five transformers and put them in different universes to keep them away from the evil dudes, it just so happens that Heatwave ended up in the Shattered Glass universe.

According to the Transformers Wiki (Page for Nexus Prime at end of comment), Skyfall is from the Cybertron Series, Landquake is from Timelines, Breakaway and Topspin are from Classics, and Heatwave's page doesn't exist so he's unknown.

I know this is addressed to JTMitchell, but i think the head is supposed to pop off of the assembly it rests on. if it's the head at the neck joint, then your kinda screwed.

You mean the head itself being really loose (No matter how tight you turn that screw it turns like crazy) or the purple "neck" piece?

If you meant the later mine did pop off. Came off with very little pressure applied and I can't figure out if it broke or if it's just loosely put on.

The later. Mine popped off as well. Its not broke just doesnt fit as tight as I would like.

Yeah, I had a feeling it wasn't broke. Just if you catch it in the light you see what might be pressure points in the plastic.

Regardless, once it's pegged onto the body it holds enough that you don't even notice.

great review I really like this guy, his backback is suppose to fit closer to the back but the new head's "mowhawk" makes the head bigger then the original so it prevents those tabs from hooking on those small slots. "Nexus Maximus" was one of the original Primes until something happend that caused his combiner pieces to be scatterd across the different TF universes, from my understanding anyways. hope you inejoyed this info inducing comment :D

Ha, now I know the secret to the whole thing.

In my original Nexus Maximus video (I redid it and that one will be uploaded tomorrow) I went on for a good minute about "If Nexus is one of the original 13, what does that make his smaller portions. Are they all members, is he just the one, would they be six of the first 13. I don't get it.

I forgot to go into that for the second video, which works in my favor :D

Something irks me about the way the colors are distributed on him, just doesn't quite look balanced. The limbs all look fine. Maybe if there was some red somewhere on the torso or forearms or summmmmthang. I like the base mold though. Weird gap in vehicle mode is ass but it's a nice sporty robot. With the original colors it did work pretty well as an Onslaught upgrade as well - though it pales in comparison to the new Universe one of course
