  • hey I can make it look better!!! in 720 HD with only a dazzle, pinnacle studio 12, and sony vegas 10. I Will make a tutorial with my settings if anyone wants. Plus a preview of this quality is on my channel. :D

  • hey dude please help...i dont like pinnacle and i want to record with sony vegas but it says dazzle is not on please help@!!!!!

  • Check out my sony vegas quality test for dazzle dvc 100. Dont forget to subscribe!.

  • @deoxy95 coughmetoocough x)

  • this is great

for all the software, how much did it cost?

    thanks

post a tutorial for the quality settings

  • @Sw3tMitow Thanks. I bought the black one which was like 80 bucks? the software with it is useless so any dazzle will do. You can "gank" a copy of sony vegas if you look up a tutorial here on youtube or pay $700. The links for quality settings are in the description. That's all I used.

  • @MGDC37 yo man does the black/white dazzle work 2 sony?? if so can u help me cause its not working on my sony vegas

  • @MGDC37 just hack sony vegas its easy....look at videos

  • you can capture using sony vegas 9.0 also. you dont need both softwares

  • Really? How so? I tried to do it and I could never find my dazzle through that software...

  • which dazzle are you currently using, because i recorded using Dazzle 80 which is pretty old, so newer dazzle's should work as well.

  • It shouldn't matter but I have the black one (I'm sure they're all the same. The only difference is that the black one came with more effects to play with). What I'm asking is where do I go to record on vegas. I tried to have the software recognize the dazzle but it didn't...

  • well on Vegas 9.0, if you click on Project Media and then at the top under the toolbar where you can save videos, there is another toolbar which has a couple icons. One of them is a camcorder icon. Click on that and it should take you to a recording screen with a preview. Then click on video at the top and in the drop-down menu, your dazzle should appear on the list.

  • hmm... I tried that before and again right now and it told me that the dazzle could not be opened and to make sure it is on and isn't being used in any other application or by another user. (which it's not being used elsewhere... and it is on.)

  • hmm, are you using this on vista/7 or xp?

  • Vista 64 Bit

  • hmm that might be the problem. You can look up online how to get it to work with Vegas but i say just stick with your two programs cause it seems to be working well.

and quick question, how did you thin the black sides?

  • Yea, I was going to just let you know that haha.. it works quite alright :)

    I was just curious hehe..

Any way, I actually kind of wondered that. I applied the settings that I provided in this video and yet still had black lines. Something may be wrong in my settings but I looked them over and I can't find it. I wanted to take the lines off for a nicer view (more full screen look) but I don't mind them anymore. Project Properties: 720 height by 480 width. Idk man...

  • oh alright, thanks anyway

  • fuck yea this is 100 times better than the video before!

  • i downloaded vegas 9.0 and it says i either put in a serial num or do a free trial. is that how urs is???

  • yeah um u need a keygen

  • Which sony vegas did you use in this video, 8.0??

  • 9.0 pro but I dont think that matters either.

I didn't edit at all. I only rendered it and I think all can render it.

  • ok thanks 4 your help. i guess ill talk to u later when i actually get a cap card

  • So when i get my card should i download the software the comes with it or just go straight to sony vegas

  • You HAVE to install pinnacle studio. It is the only way to record video footage from the dazzle. After it's recorded and in a folder go straight to vegas.

  • waitt so you capture it with pinnicle studios with crappy quality then you fix it up with sony vegas???

  • Well, the quality is not good but not bad either but sony vegas makes it so much better after rendering to youtube settings.

  • which color dazzle do you use

  • I have the black one. I heard it doesn't matter which one you use. The only difference is that mine comes with more transitions and such to edit. I don't use Pinnacle Studio (the software you have to install that comes with the dazzle) to edit my video. I ONLY capture with it. You can edit with movie maker, which is what I used to do, but now am going to use Sony Vegas as it handles video wayy better and it can render for awesome video like this one. I still have to learn to edit with it though.

  • cool i have a tv out . but what was all this talk i heard about splitters??

  • Great. Dont worry about the splitters. That method is used for people without the TV Out. All you need is the dazzle (Im assuming) and you need double ended rca cables. It's pretty easy. Have your console connected to the input like usual. Connect the double ended rca cables to the out and the other side to the dazzle. The dazzle's usb will connect to your computer. That's all you need. Besides that, just install the software to your computer.

  • oh yea 1 more thing what are all the materials i would need to buy to get my videos up and running.I want to make sure i have everything so i wont have to go outside and get more things.

  • Do you have an "Out" on your tv? (Output)

If you do, all you will need is double ended rca cables. Those will run to your dazzle and the dazzle will run to your computer. The game console would stay where it has always been connected. (Input)

If you don't have and output on the back of your tv, I suggest you look up "dazzle setup tutorials" as you would have to buy separate splitters. I have an out so I didn't have to.

  • damn i need my quality to be exactly like this when i get my cap card next month

  • hehehe... a fast computer is a huge plus too.

I didn't know that until I got my new computer. I thought it was the capture card's fault lol...

  • do you have an hd tv or an sd tv?

  • Standard and I'm just fine with it :)

I'll get an hdtv sooner or later but I'm not in the position to afford one at 16 lol.
