They seem to have this whole "ode" to the late 60's/70's vibe going on. There's nothing wrong with it, but this wouldn't have a hit in those days. It's a catchy riff and they ride it the whole song, it's not rocket science. Listen to a band like FREE to find the real genius in this formula.
