Omg. I'm getting this amp. I've been watching some of your vids and your playing is just wonderful. Thank you for the demos, you got yourself a new subscriber!
Man its crazy how close your tone is to mine. Bugera rocks. You need to check out the new pod hd500. And the product design manager hinted we have a spider v coming soon.
Fascinating, Dingle1. Because of your demo vids I am in love with the Bugera 6262, of course with M13 delay on top. That tone just melts my soul! Your playing in the Bugera "Lead" vid is perfect! Anything else I should know about how you set up for that tone? Please tell, bro! Also, how does the 6262 sound when played with the POD XT Live or X3 Live? Could you make a vid with these units?? Thanks, man! Keep rockin'!
@zzlong55 My lead tone is usually just the amp and a delay set at 500ms with the mix at about 3rd. I don't have access to those units, but if I do I'll do a demo of them
Dingle1...You rock those Bugera amps, bro! Do you work for Bugera, or do you have an endorsement deal with them...or are you independently wealthy and spend gobs of time buying gear??? Of all the Bugera models, I like the 6262 best. It is one hell of a crankin' amp!
@zzlong55 I have a Bugera endorsement, but so far since I signed the contract I have had nothing from them, not even the stuff they owe me. I purchased all of my amps except the V55HD which was a gift from Uli Behringer. Thanks for the kind words man.
@dingle1 Yeah, bro, you are a very good guitarist! I like the tones you get out of those Bugera amps. I love a smooth, slightly dirty distortion that sings, and you get that tone on your Bugera Lead video! You said you only used the amp and the delay on the Line 6 M13. It is a heavenly sound! Great! How did you get an endorsement? You play in a popular band? Sure would like to know. Thanks for your talent, man! Keep rippin' guitar!!
im thinking of buying either a 6262 or the 333xl but the one thing that puts me off is the reliability issue. I seriously dont want one of these breaking on me at a gig are they reliable or is one more reliable than the other any form of reply will be highly great thanks.
i had a Peavey 5150 i had modded to take El34's, this is the closest i've ever heard to what that amp sounded like, i think you might have sold another Bugera 6260
Hmm, that made me think to change the 6L6s in my 6262 to el34s. It sounds decent and I think it cuts through better in a band situation. What do you think?
Thanks for the vid. I've been wondering what the difference would be. The EL34s sound a little tighter and have a little more mid umph at least from what i could tell with my headphones. I'll stick with my 6l6s. I like the bottom end better and the clean sound better. Also I preferred the 333xl with the 6l6s. What about you? What are you gonna do with the 6262? 6l6 or el34?
One question about amps Mr. Dingle...when you run 2 cabinets at the same time both through the "Loud Speaker" output on the back of an amp head, do both amps receive 120 watts if the head is rated at 120 or is it split and 60 per cabinet?
@Derrick7777777 It's all about the ohms matching. If you are running two 8 ohm cabs, then the amp will be split to 60w per side. If you run two 16 ohm cabs, you'll only run about 50% of the amps power. If you run two 4 ohm cabs, you'll blow the amp. Hope that helps.
I run two 8ohm cabs for live, just the one at home is plenty loud enough.
Nice video. Sounds really good for bedroom volumes. To me, these amps, or at least my 6260, sounds and acts totally different at different volumes. It sounds great if you get out of bedroom volumes and get into the 4-5 range, and it sounds by far the best at about 8 or so. I have a room in my house big enough to let me crank it to 8 without the sound pressure levels being super crazy. Bass is crazy tuned to drop C with the volume on 8 =)
very nice video! whats the name of the song? quick question. hows the volume on the 6262 212? 120 tube watts seem a bit too loud to me. Can you get it down to bedroom levels?
What cabs do you use Dingle1? would a Valve king 412 work well with this head? where would be the best place to order this combo from? thanks, T.j
015asd 1 month ago
@015asd Look for a used Marshall cabinet. It'll sound more focused. the valveking cab can get pretty muddy.

darthvater190 8 months ago
@darthvater190 You have a switch button on the head. You can chose between 6L6 or EL34.

@zzlong55 Thanks man, very kind. I got my endorsement as a result of all the hard work i have put in promoting their products and selling them.

EL34 tubes seem to naturally have more compression and less midrange?

Great sound dingle. You should invest in a noise gate, they work wonders. The ISP Decimator is the one I use.

I think with scale 25.5" guitar you could do hi-gain so much better than scale 24.75" guitar.
SirZozzo 1 year ago
@SirZozzo I have both scale lengths, and they both work fine for high gain.
