Iv been looking for this ever since i watched it at primary school. and yer that tall guy still a bit freaky. just could not remember the title, good up load.
INTERESTING PIECE OF T.V. TRIVIA FOR ANYONE WHO'S INTERESTED:
The girl who played 'Helen' in this, Sylvestra Le Touzel, is none other than the 'My Fair Lady' character in the famous Heineken 'water in Majorca' TV ads.
I thought I was the only one who shat it when this was on at my school. I am not alone now. Scary dude looks a bit like Andy Warhol though. Wasn't their spaceship under the lake and it caused the kids compass to go crazy??
used to scare me to heck when I was a kid 5-7 , bloody ell im yes 36 almost, and well it really is still very freaky,I can see how it would have scared someone like it did me !!!
The scary man got his cock out and turned the kids trousers down then inserted his worm into his sweet young ass, lol. What do you think happened its a Look and read show.
this gave me the fantods when i were a lad. The thin geezer in the blue MG midget was dead scary. I remember the bit where the scientist takes the space boy for a ride in his Morris 1100!!
thanks so much for posting this .. it is this moment from 'boy from space' that i remember more than any other , i even remember it was at the end of the second episode.
god i'm 34 now and it's even a little scary today
I remember watching this when I was in Primary 3 in the spring of 1984. It has the same kind of quality as one of those public information films about 'what-happens-if-you-play-with-frisbees-near-power-stations' and still gives me the creeps even now!
yup thats rite im actually reely gud at spelling just cba writing in full like su m assholes ehem keep in your own buisness mateee go bum ya mum WOOP WOOP :D
I'm so glad it wasn't just me who that guy still scares- saw it like 6 years ago- primary school- (but never saw whole thing, can just remember magic e, and this)
Utterly terrifying.! I too am 34, and have only just got over this. I can still vividly remember the nightmares this gave me as a child. I think they are going to start again.
Fucking Hell!!!!! The Thin Man scare the shit out of me as a child!!!! I, along with the rest of my classmates, had nightmares about this dude for ages!!!
my god! i can remember watching this at primary school about 24 years ago, and i never in a million years thought i would see it again..thank fuck for YOUTUBE!!!!
I'm shitting it now watching it and I'm 33....I think I was about 5 when i was made to watch it...I used to look forward to wordy appearing so it would be all over
She may not be able to remember where she saw the thin man before, but I sure as hell do... On children's telly at school BEFORE the watershed! Still scares me silly now! xD
i remember being really freaked out at that dude when i saw this at school...
Has anyone ever heard of Badger Girl? it was something pretty similar to the look and read shows, but noone else seems to know what it is... i'm starting to think i've imagined it!
This is a later version, but the original version from the early/mid 70's is the one i saw at school. It was different as it wasn't narrated by the girl, but by a guy with a really deep, slow, frightening voice. Scared me half to death!
I agree with one of the comments earlier, the programme was made in the 1970's. I first watched it at school when I was in the last year of infance school (1979/80). The thin man freaked me out back then and I remember having trouble getting to sleep, scared he would come and get me late at night! Another scary episode was when peep-peep and Mr Buntings car broke down on 'Rabbit Hill', the thin man was hiding in a narrow lane between the trees on 'Rabitt Hill', the tension was unbearable!
@hitchinyid I was just the same with this guy. I had nightmares for months after watching this. Even now it scares me. Being 31 hasn't helped the level of fear either!
@kungfudave You're the same age as me, and you're not alone in your reaction to the Thin Man. The first entrance of Peep Peep at the end of episode 3 was even scarier, even though he turned out to be the good guy.
I can't believe they showed this to kids in the eighties, but they did. I know cos I'm one of them and I agree, it scared the absolute living crap out of me for years too. Looking back at it now its kind of got that terminator feel to it, something coming at you that just will not stop crossed with a hammer horror with those extreme close ups and eerie music
They would never get away with showing anything as fucked up as this these days! LOL imagine watching the full series on magic mushrooms!
oh shit, feels like im on a bad trip with this one!!! they showed this at my school 1984 and i havent seen it until today! that thin pale man with the freeky voice needs some strepsils quicktime!
i remember seeing this at school when i was about 6 years old. it was pretty scary back then. I even remember being off "sick" one friday so i missed a particular episode, because it freaked me out so much!!! This programme was originally made in 1971, and was one of the first childrens tv programmes specifically made to be shown in colour. but many schools at the time didn't have the means to show it as it should have been seen, so it was released many years later, mid 80s i think
This scared the shit out of me when i saw it at school in the very early 80s,i couldnt sleep at night, why did they do that to us lol lol, bastards, are there anymore clips, cant seem to find any apart from this one and the opening theme tune, would love to see the whole series again......
This scared the absolute crap out of me when I saw this at school. I forgot what it was called years ago, but thankfully a friend recently reminded me. and now I can feel like a shit up 9 year old again!!! haha!
i agree with all comments, this scared me shitless, now in my 30's and still scared watching the clip, thin pale man!!!! nightmare again for years!!!!!
No, No, Noooooo............not the pale thin man. Make him go away, damn him and his mack and hat........I too am 35 but he still makes me run crying.
oh my god - where did you find this? i remember this and was trying to remember what it was called etc. It used to really frighten me too. ahhh memories!
