I'm so sorry for your mom..My mother is suffring the same fuckin desease for the second year and i watch her die every day in my eyes.. we are doing our best to care for her but i dont think she will survive next year.. she forget every thing, how to walk how to talk she even forget my name.I m now a student in medecine and I will do my best to perform my studies in neuro and try to make an end for this fucking illness .. because not only the patient is suffring .. all my symphaties for you :(
Oh my dear! You lost your mom in two months? :( My mom was diagnosed in August 2009 and now is in the end stage and there is no treatment left.. She has about several weeks to couple of months. How did your mom pass away so quickly?
@kliikd My mom didn't like hospitals or doctors and while she knew something was not right, she didn't go to the doc to have her symptoms investigated until it was waaaay too late for treatment. By the time she got there, she had already lost 90% mobility on her left side, so any life prolonging treatment would have had her laying in a hospital bed for longer than necessary. Mom would have had no quality of life. We chose (her and I) to keep her comfortable. Love and light to you and your mom <3
A big loss, i know how you feel, my dad (Theo, 55) passed away may 16th 2010 due the cause of a glioblastoma multiforme diagnosed jan 22nd 2010 with no treatment possible. We did dendritic cell vaccin and hyperthermia but a long infection caussed his dead very sadly i lost my dad wich was also my best friend!
Hope for a good treatment of cancer in short time!
I lost my mother from the very same cancer in 1989. She was 53. It's a horrible thing to see any loved one to go through. My sympathies to you and your family.......
I've lost my mom too, for the same glioblastoma multiforme, she was diagnosed on August 2008 and i lost her on March 2, 2009... my life is changed by then but nothing will be more like before by now...all my simphaties for you...
Sorry for your loss, i know how you feel. I lost my aunt on 29-12-2009, she was also suffering from this deadly tumor. Even after two surgery and radiotherapy she was not able to survive (only 8 months). I felt very bad and i know that nothing can be done.

Sorry for your loss. My brother was diagnosed with the same on January 5th of this year. He lost his battle on 04/02/2010. I still can't believe it. I'm comforted by the fact that I was able to take time off from work and spend the last three months of his life showing him how deeply I loved him. Cancer is a "thief in the night".
My brother has currently been couregeously battling Glioblastoma Multiforme, since July 7, 2008, upon which he fell into a seizure, discovered he had a malignant brain tumor called Glioblastoma Multiforme.
Docs strongly urged my brother to begin treatment, but he claimed spiritual healing and did fine for the next 18 months, with No treatment , except anti-seizure meds.
On January 21, 2010, he fell into another seizure, receiving a second brain tumor removal the following morning.
There's nothing you can do but give her whatever she asks for and love her with everything you have. I'm sorry you have to live through this, it's not easy. My sympathies for you as well.
Sorry for your loss.
