I remember when this movie came out when I was only 5 years old. All the pipes in our house froze. My whole family went to stay with some other family for a while, with a house full of people already there with no hot water! We all had to boil hot water, add cold water and wash up from a cooking pot. One of the best times in my life.

Seconding all the underrated movies comments. I fell in love watching this movie when I was little back in the 80s. Sure it was a 15 and I was only 8, but I'm so glad my parents were carefree about these things and I was allowed to discover this gem

When they show this scene on network and/or cable television, they edit it I guess for time. never watch a movie on television because it is heavily edited.

absolutly posativly a gr8 movie, and YES, wayy under rated.. so many of my favorite movies seem to have the same titles as newer movies have, and are, therefore hard to find on searches, and netflix has a lot of junk, and they pass by classics like this one.. RIP Gregory Hines, you are deeply missed, and also your Tap dancing.. ... any one know where i might find this movie on dvd or vhs for sale?? I'd love to have it for years to come??
