The second style was probably created for people who don't know about the hairspray trick. We all saw how easily they slip on with the use of hairspray.

use dust off, you don't need to cut off the grips.

stick the straw under the grip, spray air and the grip will slip on.

Best of all it is dry, so you can ride instantly. no waiting for it to dry.

You want to take your grips of without cutting them? lift your grips or prime them slighty open spray some WD40 inside, wait a couple of minutes then twist and pull them straight of. ?

Y didnt i look for this vid b4 i struggled to put on the handle grips half way on.. pfft das a work out... so i had to cut off like 30% of the grips to get it off dean use yur method n it went rite on.. thnx for the vid

I will try to spray some deo under the grips using unsharp knives to tighten it from between them and the bar

i like putting like 6 zip ties in the grip evenly spread and when you put it on your bars the grips are separated by the plastic so slides on easy. then just pull the zip ties out with clampers and your ready to hit the trails no waiting time. try it

there is another way! if u have an air compresser, u can try and get the nosle under the grip as much as u can and try to blow it, and after thats off put the nosle in the open end of the bar and the grips shoot off! it was funny, i didnt do it but i watched a guy at the bike shop do it, and my grips r perfeclty fine and i have my odi lock on grips

i have odi lock on grips and i want to put them on my stinky, u kno just to have them, but i was wondering if theres any other way to take them off without cutting them , cuz there not bad id just rather have lock ons...

Instead of hair spray, I used men's body spray which contains mostly denaturalized alcohol (also the main ingredient in spay deodorant). They easily slipped on, and I it drys fast.
