one thing that you notice when you cross the boarder from Canada into the states, is the amount of flags. Americans have their flag everywhere! you dont see 1/2 as many Canadian flags in Canada. not that we arent patriotic, but maybe we just dont see the need to plaster it everywhere.....
I had to smile when you said that a train in the middle of a city is weird... I'm in the Pittsburgh area. Out here if there aren't train tracks somewhere then you aren't in civilization. Even at my college, 2 hours from Pittsburgh, we have trains running through campus. Got to love the rust belt. :)

I can't agree with you more. I dislike seeing
a Christmas until after Thanksgiving. It is becoming more difficult every year to avert my eyes from decked halls starting after Halloween!
