The funny thing is that this is probably about the most useful assessment for the average person that I've heard from him in awhile.

Many of us DO have piles of software in Windows that wouldn't be easily replicated on the Mac OS, and even we could run all our software on the Mac OS, why would I, personally, pay two-three times as much for the same hardware, just so I can get a Mac OS, only to have it present the same desktop icons to run the same software for me? That's all an OS does.

I use windows 7 becouse im used to it.Windows xp has been installed on my pc for about 2 months (Its a new build) then i put windows 7 on it too, dualbooting it. i've had windows 7 on for 1 and a half months windows xp still loads quicker and the "welcome" screen on windows 7 takes forever, on windows xp it dosent even pop up, press enter and im at the desktop.

For example; your Logitech drivers. You didn't state what the drivers were for. Most if not all Logitech devices work as Plug 'n' Play in OS X. What did you expect Mac to do with a Vista disc? Before testing Mac OS X you clearly didn't research any Mac equivalents to your Windows Software.
