IF I can make a telescope out of a USB webcam, and some rubber hose mounted on a tripod, and a 35mm zoom powerfull enough to see ditail on the moon, what's stopping ME from looking deeper into space with a BIG lense and capturing these? Many of those could be radar observation sats they tend to have huge collectors and are big spacecraft around the size of a bus.

The dimensions of the shuttle's cargo bay were originally dictated by the USAF and it's needs.
