we need a justice system like in texas here in germany. capital punishment here is serve 15 years in a prison like a hotel (cable tv,video games, 3 meals per day and city escorts) with the chance of parole ! what for? for capital murder in combination with rape , child abuse , robbery , burglary. in texas the victims family has the hope the offender will be put to death in several years. and here they have the sureness that he will be set free after 15 years. thats injustice !

As much as scumbags like Peter Cantu don't deserve it, I'd say life without parole for him...reason is, the justice system doesn't exist just for people (if you can call those excuses for human beings that) but for wrongfully convicted people.
