I'm not really sure what the people talking about religion or obsessive compulsive behavior are discussing, or whether they're referring to the whole movie or the story; if we're talking about just the trailer, then I think it's just about humanity's dirt, all of us. We're talking about an unfaithful wife who doesn't have the decency or guts to just get divorced instead of cheating, a lowlife scumbag who insists on sleeping with a married woman, and a jealous husband overtaken by rage. Period.
when I was 16 in 1970 I told my friend that also who had faith don't tell any one I do. she did they were all shocked and started to take me a part. you have to remember there was a lot of talk show in these days. and they all had gays on and they all blame the Lords people for there pain. plus so many were lost they want to proof you were nuts for they wouldn't feel bad.
Its was very Politically correct, it had gays, sex, lust, and a hate for them who have faith in God. But not all faiths just one. A Daddy in the sky really! The small mind that seem to keep putting this out there must understand there the one with a very small view of things. Yes there are many bad people who have faith in God in jail. But there are just as many gays, and other faith in jail too. But to paint this with so much hate and unfairness of faith is sick on your part.

Just saw the stats for a PRO Christian movie that was released this weekend. The movie for you Atheist Godless animals to check out is "Courageous". It's about police officers vowing to be better fathers by connecting with (dare I say it LOL) GOD!!!! It finished in 5th place at the box office (wow what a bunch of idiots going to see a movie that shows people turning to GOD LOL)

When you remove God, you remove the moral teachings. If a man TRULY believes that there is nothing when he dies and there's no possibility of punishment or reward, his only fear is of the law. If you TRULY believe that you will burn in Hell if you are not moral, you will do your best to be moral and just.

I can say for 100% certainty.. if anyone ever said "you have a very sexy mouth" to my wife, she would deck them, stomp on their face, and bury them in a shallow grave. This movie looks moronic.

I don't get why people say they refuse to see it because it mocks christianity. It's just a new thing in horror films, and well...all pop culture. People find Heaven & Hell, Angels and Demons fascinating. They don't ALWAYS make people who beleive in God crazy. There are countless films with roles of normal christians. He doesn't need to be an over-the-top christian, and the movie would work if that facet of his personality were absent, but no, it had to be included. It turned from a thrilling premise into unfounded christian bashing. No thanks.
