I don't understand why there are so many dislikes on this video. I think you did very well on a very hard song and you infused a little bit of you and didn't try to impersonate Amy. I think that overall this was quite good!

I'll dislike, And here's why : You dont have the things in your voice that can take us far. This thing that Amy Lee bring to Evanescence. And I have the feelings ( no offense taken, it'sa personal opinion ) that cover HAVE to be better than the original song. And for this one, My feelings are you dont bring anything to the song. It's the same, but with fewer strenght.

Again this is a personal opinion about cover.

I still applause the perform, you are an amazing singer.

By the way it can be a " better " cover only by adding something new to the song make it sounds different. Here, we dont have it. This is just Someone trying to do Evanescence, not doing a cover of evanescence.

But I still think that the singer is amazing and have a beautiful voice. My problem comes with my feelings about it.. If you have different feelings, share them, just dont say the others are ridiculous ! ;-)

@Alwyndark i agree, her voice is amazing! verses are perfect, but the chorus(or refrain, whatever it is called)is not really the way it should be! the part after "i'm drowning in you" doesn't give the right emotion to the song.

That kicked ass!! I have been watching people try to sing that song for an hour, there were a couple of opera types that were realy good, but they can't touch the emotion you put into your performance. This is as good as the original.
