I know what that Janna was trying to do. She saw udyr, and she feared the baron stolen, the second she ulted, baron had already died however, making her ult SEEM worthless.
If it was done even half a second earlier, it would visibly show a Janna using her ultimate to knock away the enemy jungler to prevent him from smite stealing.
That ult was a smart move, it was just executed too late, one kill in NOT worth having baron stolen
