  • I prefer the album versions for hash pipe and dope nose.

  • this was a hissen song ?

  • @thecoolfool8 hissen? Hash Pipe was written with the other SS2K and originally debuted during that summer tour. Sadly it was the only SS2K to make it on Green, albeit in a different fashion. I prefer the garage punk of the SS2K version over the more metal sounding version on green. Those romantic leads on the chorus as well as Mikey and Pat's ska fills throughout are just amazing. Really transports you to the time and place: stoned on a cool summer night after a warm day of cold beer and rock!

  • @TheAngryAbsolutist was it a hidden song

  • @thecoolfool8 No. When Rivers released the SS2K album online for free, it only included 10 out of the 14 Summer Songs of 2000. Due to fan demand the other four songs were eventually released in high quality format with Rivers' definitive edits in place. Hash Pipe was one of these songs and is now included as a bonus track on the SS2K album along with Been In The Storm (cover), My Brain, Ev'ry Nite, and Peace and Quiet. The album's difficult to find, so feel free to download it here.
