this song was stuck in my head the other day. Imagine my embarassment when I started singing ths song in a crowded movie theater. Good thing I'm not in high school anymore; I can't imagine singing this song out loud in front of teachers and students.
Watched it performed live in '90 over a good mosh pit .... one of the best shows ever. Saw with Skatenigs (Chemical Imbalance) and another band I can't remember... must've been what I was on )
@tjbay1376 hear that, bro. No worries - in my humble opinion, Al just ranks UP there for talent & skills. Not caring so much for the new, HC Ministry, myself- but theres aplenty of older shit to satisfy! BTW, aside from Beers, Steers & Queers, SS Providers, In The Neck & select others, it took me some listenin' to "get into" the remainin RevCo library. Really like Cocktail MIXXX!! I have Spinctour - ABSOLUTELY love it, i'll join Al in abottle while i'm watchin' it! ;)
love this band so much @ a show few years back clev oh i was in front row n got lucky was handed mike n sang words stainless steel providers that nite was one ill remember

This song reminds me of this one time in the summer of 1995, some friends and I were listening to this song on the drive home (and a little smoke) after an all night of rolling on "ecstasy" at a rave party (I wasn't driving, LOL) but this song just felt so right and matched what I was feeling. When I hear this song it transports me back to that wonderfull moment and that increadible buzz I felt. Anyway, this song takes me back.
@skawashers hav ya heard Cocktail Mixxx?! Used ta think that way 'bout MM after Mechanical Animals - and then..... well, his score on Resident Evil fer 1 thing...
@kirbdog33 the three albums i find hard to stomach are Sex-O Olympic-O (2009), Sex-O MiXXX-O (2009), Got Cock? (2010) As they are a poor representation of how the rev co sound used to be. Those 3 albums are less rev co and more euro disco. i think it would take alot of tweaking and a bucket full of Viagra to get the flaccid sound of modern rev co to stand strong again.. Now Al has resigned and handed the band over to others. its lost its edge/ just take a look at clips on youtube
@skawashers will/do, thanks fer the ejamacation! cha, guess i's out o' the loop. I actually have soooo much frakkin music & if anything i'm kinda exploring rap now, cause after the origins - GM Flash, SugarHill Gang, Tom Tom Club - i left it for New Wave (TG 4 MTV, :p) & in Boston(Lynn) MA we've got WFNX 101.7 & Lansdowne St, by Fenway (then it was Spit/SpitUp & the Metro clubs-had best Xs), SO then "Alternative", & finally circa 1990 I discovered Industrial AND Life became so wonderful! Peace!
i was reading about when Chris Connely recorded the vox for this track. Its a funny book called "Concrete, bulletproof + fried: my life as a revolting cock"
i miss Chris Connelly's voice. It's great. I have an entire live show from the 80's with this song, but I gotta get it transferred from the damn VHS. They still had Luc Van Acker playing wiht them.
I got that same vid (on VHS too!)- I actually like the live versions better than the studio tracks. That was all filmed at a show at the Caberet Metro in Chicago in (I think) '87. Luc's chubby ass is just sweating bullets in that leather jacket but he's too cool for school so he just leaves it on.
someone get the video back on youtube

@elfar10 easily one of their top 3 or top 5 tracks. Fucking brutal in its simplicity.
