Huntsman's tax plan in Utah cost the poor more in taxes. You paid the same tax on your car wether it was worth $100,000 or $1,000 for example. The 999 plan still allows deductions to churches and charities. The plan does put a heavy burden on the poor and is nothing but a tax cut for the very wealthy.
Get rid of the 16th amendment, income tax, capital gains tax, estate tax, property tax and go to a simple flat tax at the local, state and federal level. Add an amendment to state that the rate shall never exceed 6%.
9-9-9=27%, 9% Income tax (your labor being taxed), 9% sales tax (the consumer pays this for businesses and themselves so for the regular person this turns into more like 18%), 9% corporate tax (read sales tax) so in this plan the consumer shoulders the entire 27% paying the way for everyone else. There is no such thing as a FAIR TAX, only through the threat force can the government compel you to pay taxes. The only FAIR TAX is NO TAX, taxes are not patriotic, they are chains for slavery.

Herman Cain is full of shit. What he fails to mention here is that IN ORDER for 9-9-9 to pass, WE HAVE TO AMEND THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION. That means the 16th Amendment has to be repealed, which would then take away Congress's right to tax personal incomes. In order to amend the United States Constitution, you need a 2/3rds majority vote in BOTH houses of Congress, AND a ratification by 3/4ths of States. Do you REALLY think Democrats in the Senate will go for this?

Huntsman's tax plan in Utah cost the poor more in taxes. You paid the same tax on your car wether it was worth $100,000 or $1,000 for example. The 999 plan still allows deductions to churches and charities. The plan does put a heavy burden on the poor and is nothing but a tax cut for the very wealthy.

Get rid of the 16th amendment, income tax, capital gains tax, estate tax, property tax and go to a simple flat tax at the local, state and federal level. Add an amendment to state that the rate shall never exceed 6%.

9-9-9=27%, 9% Income tax (your labor being taxed), 9% sales tax (the consumer pays this for businesses and themselves so for the regular person this turns into more like 18%), 9% corporate tax (read sales tax) so in this plan the consumer shoulders the entire 27% paying the way for everyone else. There is no such thing as a FAIR TAX, only through the threat force can the government compel you to pay taxes. The only FAIR TAX is NO TAX, taxes are not patriotic, they are chains for slavery.

The i.r.s. is the service used by the federal government to collect taxes to service debt, not taxes for basic services. This is more an argument against the federal government's use of taxes though there are logical arguments against even local taxes. Before the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank the Federal Government ran on trade tariffs and government fees.

Look what happened to the student loan program under G.W. Bush and then look what has happened to it under Obama. Bush privatized handing it over to the banks and their profit motive. It made going to college extremely expensive for those trying to climb out of poverty through education. Obama has returned it to the government, and just as during the golden age of the middle class (1950s-1960s) it is once again possible to attend college with a reasonable guaranteed loan.

Herman Cain is full of shit. What he fails to mention here is that IN ORDER for 9-9-9 to pass, WE HAVE TO AMEND THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION. That means the 16th Amendment has to be repealed, which would then take away Congress's right to tax personal incomes. In order to amend the United States Constitution, you need a 2/3rds majority vote in BOTH houses of Congress, AND a ratification by 3/4ths of States. Do you REALLY think Democrats in the Senate will go for this?

Michele Bachmann is a religious kook,and an IRS attorney--NEXT!Huntsman is reasonable,but doesnt have the charisma.Ron Paul also has this problem.
