I actually just finally opened this out of it's box. And I've been having the same problems with the pop outs. I think they intentionally did that on purpose, because in he seems to break out into pieces in the game when an autobot beats him up.

payload sucks i just got mine today and yup all his parts fall off,

1) HIS HEAD FALLS OFF!

2) HIS GRILL FALLS OFF

3) HIS CHEST FALLS OFF!

all correct.

and he does'nt even stay together properly in vehicle form the bit where the roof meets the back doors does'nt clip in right, just poorly designed, and it says 5+ on the packet i'd say a five year old would destroy payload in the first transformation, and the grabby claw thing makes him not so possible as he just falls over.

Just bought him from Wal-Mart, pretty cool lookin' Decepticon. I imagined him opening up his top, flip legs up n' apart, do a 180 flap jump forward and transform his arms and shoulder panels out. Sweet realistic transformation eh? He looks like more of a Soundwave to me, the rectangular shape of his chest and upper body makes him pretty much like a stereo kinda robot.

I just got mine about an hour ago. I am surprised Payload is not as popular as the other guys. In my opinion, he is one of the best looking in robot form. I like the "chunky" legs (calves), its like mega man!! 9/10

He isnt hard to pose at all, as long as you adjust the feet the right way. Very good figure. Only bad things are that stupid long rod in his back and that his head can pop off (try supergluing it).

I picked Payload, Final Battle Jazz, and Long Arm up like, 3 weeks ago at the mall. I live in Minnesota (Minneapolis, to be exact.) Payload is pretty common around here now. I saw him at a Toys R Us, too. I've seen new voyager figures at Toys R Us within the last week too, so the new figures are starting to come around.
