  • I was in preschool/kindergarten when this was on. Strangely, I don't remember this skit, but I remember the theme song!

  • @aquarius7384 Marcielo Sanchez I think?

  • Look how easy it was to kidnap kids back in the 80's.

  • "This must be the stolen mummy!" No shit.

  • your caption reads: "3-2-1 Contact detective series that ran in the earlier seasons. If you want to see how it ends and if they die, robotman71 has the exciting conclusion." It would be SOOOOO funny if they crossed the mafia or some street gang or biker gang or something and ended up getting cut to piecesXD

  • Yeeaaaaah...that was not what I was looking for.

  • I waited about 30 seconds for the music to start... It never came :(

  • I wanted all together ooky... This is not all together ooky

  • What the fuck?

  • whaaaa??

  • Wow, so before people stole money and jewels, they stole mummies?

  • born in '76 grew up on electric company, seseme and 3-2-1 contact , man I need a blunt after seeing this.

  • @FCF4L damn i wish the 80's was back

  • The guy in the beret looks like Clancy Brown's dad.

  • wow, this theme song still sticks in my head 30 something years after...is this on dvd??? i liked this show it was silly but fun

  • What is the name of the oldest boy in the Blood Hound Gang? I recognize him from the movie The Warriors.

  • @aquarius7384 - I believe his name was Ricardo in the show. His real name is Marcelino Sanchez and played Rembrandt in the film, The Warriors. And I had no idea he died at age 28.

  • The theme song gets me everytime...sing it! I always pictured a guy with a high pitched voice singing when I was a kid, but I later found out this was a woman singing.

  • Wow. Before "Hooray For Boobies" they were a completely different group.

  • Would have been better without them negroes.

  • LOL i thought this was the band.

  • 0:4 is the boy who used to be on some show in the 70's, i forgot his name, greg scarpelini or something like tht, i think he was in facts of life playing somebodys cousin

  • Pinhole camera FTW!!!

  • I thought this was the band, now ill respond to the comments, one, murder on TV is literally an everyday thing, two, murder is not censor worthy as it is not a curse and the only word that even really gets censored anymore is fuck, three, guns are EVERYWHERE, this show would make it any day of the week if it weren't so damn old, guns are NOTHING, and murder is NOTHING.

  • Would have been more impressive if the Cadillac had the power trunk lid pull down.

  • @DanteModaffariThanks " I was friends with Marcelino during the last five years of his life, from 1981-1986, he was certainly one of the kindest and best people I have known...I kept in touch with him via phone and letters; visited him in Los Angeles twice, in 1982 & 1983. I have lots of great memories about him and about our friendship...tell me what you'd like to know and I will answer it if I can. Most important: thank you for remembering him and for being his fan!" this was by UnlceNathan

  • haha i thort this was the blood hownd gang band. shut the fuck up you all sound lie retards. plenty of programs have guns and gess wat they even shoot them. try waching saw. fuckin naa sayers

  • This would never make it to TV today... that guy had a gun on a PBS show! Ha!

  • poor Marcelino Sanchez( the one with the fro) He was also Rembrandt in the warriors an 80's movie and he died of AIDS when he was 28.... He was so nice....

  • @jaxz789 Warriors is a 70's movie and him dying of AIDS is just a rumor

  • @DanteModaffari @DanteModaffari it was 1979 very close to the 80s and not a rumor.

UncleNathan ASK HIM I GOT MORE PROOF BY NATHAN TOO HOLD ON I WILL POST IT

  • @jaxz789 I already know everything about him. I don't need some "ready made letter" from some guy that YOU claim to know. AIDS was just a rumor; no one knows. IMDb said originally he died of cancer, so obviously there is osfuscation. Also, The Warriors was filmed in the the 70's and released in February of 1979--it is in now way, shape or form an "80's movie". If you didn't even know that, then you everything you say is suspect.

  • How this brings back fond memories...I always thought the black girl was beautiful, love those pigtails!

  • Seriously, how did this get past the censors? The thieves basically say "we're going to murder innocent children". I'm betting if the guy had been holding the gun the right way it wouldn't have got through.

  • good days

  • That older guy about this same time gueststarred on Sesame Street as Mr. Hooper's Brother.

  • dayummm. i miss these dayz.. a kid. no bills. over to my grandmother house evaday watching this while enjoying my grandmother southern home cooking. i wanna go back. i undastan that dred scott song now.

  • Fucking 70s all that time period reminds me of is Huge nasty greasy pubes.. fuck the 70s and fuck all the TV and radio fads of the time.

  • what the fuck ?!

  • this really takes me back...

  • Finally found this. THANKS. I loved the bloodhound gang. memories. dude with the fro was in the Warriors, played Rembrandt. lol.

  • The guy in the beret was a Canadian actor who was in David Cronenberg's first two movies! Peace.

  • wow....first kid to make a flatscreen tv out of cardboard!!..lol.... loved this show

  • DID HE SAY "WHAT ARE YOU THUGS DOING??? HAHAHAHAHAHA, WHO ASKS A QUESTION LIKE THAT HAHAHAHAHA, HE "REMI", WENT ON TO ACT IN OTHER THINGS BUT CANT PLACE THE SHOWS RIGHT NOW! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GIRL THOUGH?????

  • Rembrandt was nice looking I like him a lot lol

  • LOVED the Bloodhound Gang...

  • Rembrant was sexy...

  • Marcelino Sanchez wasn't the only Warriors alumni on 321 Contact. Trini (one of the girls in the main part of the show, played by Ginny Ortiz) was also in The Warriors. She plays the girl at the candy stand, where the evil gang takes all the candy, and she says "You didn't pay for that!" and the gangleader tells her to fuck off, or something. That's Trini! She was beautiful! I had a major crush on her as a kid! (I was Contact fan too). Anyone know what became of her?

  • o shit!!!! rembrant from the warriors! i never realized that was him on this show...damn

  • Earlier, I stumbled upon the 'Sigmund The Seamonster" theme song somehow and clicked on suggestion after suggestion, enjoying one theme song after another, until I ended up here. What a great bunch of memories of growing up!

  • lmao

  • i turned this on expecting jimmm pop and daddy long legs....

Now I know where they got their bands' name lol

  • 1:15 - Classic "wah, wah wah!" moment.

  • jewfro

  • wow... it's been for EVER since I've seen The Bloodhound Gang... anyone know how I can get that cardboard that he was using? I remember as a kid holding pieces of paper, cardboard and metal up to a pinhole I put in the window shade to see what was going on outside... never could see what was out there... I think that was false advertisement.

  • Wow, half a million dollars seems nothing now, at least if you're talking about ransom... xD

  • Geez. This was the ONLY episode of this thing I ever saw. I tried to do the "pinwhole camera" trick everywhere I could, and of course it never came out as clear as that scene. I gave up and didn't bother watching them anymore. Man, I was a stickler kid.

  • Those kids are so dumb, why didn't they just call for help with their cell phones. Or even email a photo of the mummy to the police?

  • @kurtec01 they didnt have the internet back then? lol

  • man, things were so much better when i was a kid.

  • That kid with the black hair and the camera.... Wasn't he Rembrandt in the Warriors?

  • oh snap Rembrant died??? anybody know of what??

  • @OBSESSIVE1914 Aids

  • @OBSESSIVE1914

He died of complications due to AIDS.

  • All so retarded. Why did I waste all my time watching this crap? Should have done my homework instead!

  • HOLY SHARD, I forgot about this 321 contact show dern

  • The pinhole camera!

  • Belive it or not, I thought the goofball holding the gun was Rodney Dangerfield. Seeing this as an adult, I now see it wasn't.

  • I only remember one episode. the one where somebody stole an antique clock and hidit n the bottom of a well. The gang made it rise to the top by dumping salt in the well. somebody should have shot those kids.

  • R.I.P. Marcelino Sánchez (December 5, 1957 – November 21, 1986) He also played as Rembrandt form the 1979 movie- The Warriors. What a great actor he was.

  • Did anyone else search the band and ended up with this..? :L

  • Doesn't Creep remind you of someone...a recent addition to the big screen...playinga sexy, 104 yo vampire?? Especially at the last scene when he says 'What about the kids?' and gets that goofy look on his face.

  • I just wish i was queer, so i could get chicks...

  • really thank you so much for uploading this. I use to come home from school and watch this everyday. Thank you soooo much.

  • WOW MAJOR DEJA VUE THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • I only remember the time they got kidnapped in the trunk of a car and like saw where they were by projecting a pinhole of light from a hole in the trunk on paper?

  • @slvgdvg OOH MY GAWD, this is that episode haha

  • Isn't this the one where the Bloodhound Gang gets slaughtered in the back of the van in part II?

  • @dsalchow No cause one of them is a member of the Warriors.

  • @dsalchow IT IS!!! GREAT MURDERS ON THIS SHOW!!!

  • Ahhh, yes, I remember this like it was yesterday. I was weened on this stuff. God, I wish it was yesterday.

  • OMG I totally remember this episode!

  • choking on a marble... while watching this... greeeeeat memories, there were still fireflies back then....

  • Awesome. Thanks for posting. I remember watching this every Wednesday in school! Too bad the actor playing Ricardo died like he did. He was great in The Warriors.

  • When the band Bloodhound Gang 1st started to be known, I was like, "what, those kids from 3-2-1 Contact?!" LOL Glad to see the original Bloodhound Gang! :D

  • @bexmith I thought the same thing!

  • @Rikun1 Ha! So glad I wasn't the only one!

  • @bexmith Do you remember the episode with the ghost of Sally Starfire (I THINK that was the right name)? The one where the so-called ghost turns out to be the woman herself, who'd disgused herself as a male and passed herself off as 'her' long-lost husband, Tex? I was hoping that episode would be on here. Too bad they didn't have the Cackling Ghost pt. 2, as well.

  • Bloody amazing... the one episode that stuck in my brain cells - particularly the pinhole camera bit - and it's the first one I happen to find here. Thanks so much for posting.

  • I was gonna say pretty much the exact same thing. While doing the dishes earlier I was thinking about this show and then thought "but the only episode I remember is the one where that one kid makes a pinhole camera." And what do you know, it's the first one I click on, as well.

  • Thanks for posting! I remember loving 321 Contact as a kid and remember it as if it were yesterday

  • I rememberd this show when i was kid, other PBS Children educational entertaiment back in the 70s 80s i surely missed my childhood days!

    Damn kids...

  • I used to watch this show all the time. lol

  • uhhhh this is a band?

  • this is intresting too bad they didnt rerun this in the 90's when i was little :/

  • I totally loved those pigtails... .the biggest I'd ever seen!

  • I used to watch this on "321 Contact" back in the day....memories maaaaaan!!! lol

  • the one that scared the shit out of me when i was a kid was the one with the ghost in the woods that scared the old lady. not meant for 5 yr olds..... :)

  • Another moron hiding behind his computer. The only reason a black person would be offended by that stupid word (created by a bunch of useless people who sleep with their own family members) is if they choose to be. It has no power unless you give it power. Just another dumb word in the vocabulary of a uselessly dumb individual. TaTa!!

  • Watch your mouth, yo. You could have been more appropriate about it.

  • That's fine if you think the girl was making a mockery of Princess Leia, but you do not have to be so racist about it. You know good and well that if someone insulted you about being a white boy you would be pissed too.

  • jesus, chill out! what the fuck happened to you as a kid that made you so vile a human?

  • I used to get an afternoon erection during The Bloodhound Gang in the early '80s.

    Hey, look at that...

  • life was simplier,d air was fresher,tv was clean, sensible & made sense, it fired your imagination. I wonder if my kids in 20 yrs will have fond childhood memories that gladdens d heart, they dont even have childhood tv, what with d internet and dumb video games.reality shows, talentless singing plastics are what's left,no lasting value, shame,

  • This was back when PBS still had decent shows!

  • i so agree. i miss the bloodhound gang, 321 contact, old sesame street with mr hooper (R.I.P.) , the old school electric company, the original degrassi junior high, and marty stoffer's( sp?) wild america.. pbs back when i was growing up was great, its okay now and i do like alot of the pbs cartoons, but the classics always make me smile

  • I so agree.

I remember Lamb Chop's Play Along, Barney and friends, (older) Sesame Street, Square One, Reading Rainbow, 3-2-1 Contact, Shinning Time Station, Wild America and Nature.

But let's not forget about the old Disney shorts along with Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Talespin, Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, Bonkers, Aladdin, Timon and Pumbaa, The Little Mermaid and Gargoyles.

  • Well if you think that SSI is welfare than you are dumber than you look because it is not. You don't even know what a real nigger is. A negro is a black person. A nigger is someone who is extremely lazy that they don't do a damn thing to help themselves and do what they can to get life expands out of other people. Not only do I get SSI but I also do things outside of my home too. You are just a racist fucker from a racist family who doesn't know your ass from the hole in your own dick.

  • I'll be that and you can continue to be the family pervert that you are. How do you like those apples?

  • Wow I remember most of those shows!! Just made me realize how much PBS I watched. Me and my sister also used to watch Dr. Who with our stepdad and it's spin off show K-9.

  • @KelleyLi OMG....we must be the same age...i LOVED degrassi..and everytime i watch my neice i get mad, cause they mr hoopers store is different...and now a Politically correct market place...my brother and I used to put cursewords together, and pretend we were on the electric company!! lol...oh morgan freeman...started out in such humble beginnings!

  • the black girl is my moms best friend, she lives in new york we in cali she does commercial now, still doing her thing... looks the same

  • dam! i remaber this when i was growin up ! the dude from the warriors!

  • Doesn't the pinhole act as the aperture?

  • There was an episode of this about a misty ghost caught in a photograph that they couldn't explain , 20 years later I still get creeped out by ghosts- I loved this show. I was so sad when they cancelled it.

  • OMGGGG...im ova here lookin 4 every show i use 2 watch back in the day...i use 2 luv this show

  • the dude with the afro, marcelino sanchez, he died of aids. its soo sad he was in the best movie ever which is the warriors. RIP macelino

  • the SHORTEST television theme song in history. i loved the Bloodhound Gang!

  • Anyone Know the 70's or 80's show that had a bunch of puppets and a space shit they'd go around in?

  • The Great Space Coaster???

  • Hell yes! I had VHS tapes of this show! Yes it's cheesy but it's freaking entertaining!

  • wheres jimmy pop?

  • Flashback!!!

  • CRAZY!

  • Im 30 now. I was sooooo young. But the song always stuck in my head. How do people find this stuff!!!

Also, that pinhole camera trick. This was supposed to be an educational program bt I have a hard time believing it works even NEARLY that well. Well, next time I'm trapped in a rusty van, I'll check it out.

  • it's also called a camera obscura, and sometimes a real glass lens is used. classical artists from in the late 19th century used it.

  • usa4mod ...

How can you not even know what something is, but pass judgement on it anyway?

    Brings back memories....

  • it was a kids show in the early 80s. back then it was what kids watched. lol so cheezy now, but back then it was the shit. hahaha

  • sure was!!!

  • wait this isnt viva la bam
