I really cannot see why it was panned. It has an incredible amount of character, and the writing, especially for York, is fantastic.

I have not even played this game, and York has become one of my favourite videogame characters.

well...this game came out only a year ago in the U.S....it came out about the same time as Heavy Rain for the PS3.... Deadly Premonition look and plays like one of those early PS2 games.

@HIGH777ROLLER It actually was meant to be developed for the PS2, but because of legal difficulties with David Lynch's lawyers due to the blatant similarities to Twin Peaks it ended up sitting around for a while. At the time it was finally given the go ahead, the PS2 version was already dated, so it made a rush port to the next gen. Hence the shitty control scheme for the Xbox 360, among other things.

Made a Sinners Sandwich today. Used a quarter of baguette for bread, local made strawberry jam, some cooked turkey breast i found already sliced, and plain corn flakes for cereals. You have to be careful and not exceed with the strawberry jam, and can be quite generous with the cereal, covering the entire surface with them so every bit has its crisp.

Mix the ingredients in a right concoction,

and no doubt 2:36 will be your reaction.
