The "Bullwinkle" puppet makes reference to this song when interviewed by Hans Conried on a 1964 episode of Jay Ward's "FRACTURED FLICKERS". After Bullwinkle offers to sing "Auntie Skinner's Chicken Dinner" (which Conried flatly refuses to hear), he says, "How about, 'In the Baggage Coach Ahead'? It's a real weeper...".
