I am 15 and my grandma took us to Disney for christmas a couple years ago. It's a 8 hour drive so she bought this DVD set with like 500 old cartoons because my 4 year old cousin was going as well. I watched them as we drove and I asked myslef "What in god's name has happened to tellevison?".

Thank you, thank you whoever found this. I'm 56--from the days of 4 channels (2, 5, 7, and 9) and for years I've been asking people if anyone remembered a cartoon about two donkeys named Hunky and Spunky. NO ONE did. This is a great day!

@BonnieD2715 There are many more here on YouTube. Fleischer made seven Hunky and Spunky cartoons, their successors at Famous made two (Spunky without Hunky), as well as co-starring Spunky in a Casper the Ghost cartoon ("Boo Kind to Animals") as well.

Thank you for uploading this cartoon. I never thought I would ever see this donkey cartoon again. It was one of my favorites as a child while growing up. Just last week, the thought of the cartoon came to mind and remembered the mother donkey scream "Hunky." I did not know the name of the cartoon but checked YT if the cartoon was available, the next time I remembered. Sure enough, like a miracle here is the cartoon on YT! I remembered the 2 donkeys kicking the cactus and drinking from it.

Does anybody remember an old cartoon that shows an old married couple sitting in rocking chairs by the fire, turning the pages of a scrapbook? The photos in the scrapbook spring to life and re-enact the days of their youth. Then they close the book, hold hands, and rock in their chairs while they look at the fire. It's a lovely touching cartoon. Does anyone know the name of it? Thanks for any help.
