that is the outer core of the city.. if you visit the inner part near the coastline it makes paris look like shit. many restaurants are like 100 feet above the ocean and while looking at it at night. it is a beutiful scene

Hey rolfen: are you back?? How is it going now? I work colleague went there for a wedding and got stuck, but left through Syria, Europe, then back to USA.
Well all I could do is this quick clip before leaving the country, and all I can do now is wait for things to go back to how they were before.. and it will take some time to get over the psycological repercussions, and the economic slowdown, the death of tourism... just clearing the coast from the oil spill is expected to take one year..

Does the Lebanese diaspora think they could go back 2 live there? Keep dreaming. I lived for 3 yrs, owned a bike. In summer we would be riding along the coast, then hit the mountain villages and in 30mins it would be freezing. A diverse cradle of civilisation in need of TLC. The villages rule supreme. Love the ancient history, women, atmosphere, food, water, social life, people....A must see for all! Lebanon Allah Yehmeeki!

that is the outer core of the city.. if you visit the inner part near the coastline it makes paris look like shit. many restaurants are like 100 feet above the ocean and while looking at it at night. it is a beutiful scene

Well all I could do is this quick clip before leaving the country, and all I can do now is wait for things to go back to how they were before.. and it will take some time to get over the psycological repercussions, and the economic slowdown, the death of tourism... just clearing the coast from the oil spill is expected to take one year..

This is nothing compared to ACTUALLY being there. Beirut is gorgeous, the climate, the people, the atomsphere. Oh God, i was stunned out of my mind when i was there. Lebanon is definately the jewel of the middleeast. Anyways stay safe, and look out for yourself!
