@stavroscustom If you drop the oil pan you'll see a chain driven oil pump/counter weight balancer, the chain has a tendency to snap, and when that chain snaps you have no oil pressure resulting a catastrophic engine failure. Theres an upgrade that VW made where the oil pump and counter weight runs on gear.
yes its fixed thanks, the mass air flow was not working and i put in a new air filter too. all is well now. still cuts off at times when the car is cold. ive been looking at the new passat 2011, looks pretty cool! i want to buy it...
@Anacinc , so what do you think is the best way to clean it? and plus my car isnt picking up power at all and its a tdi 2001. :( what do you sugguest i do?
Hi! Before blaming the injectors I would seriously suggest to check your MAF sensor, inletfilter, fuelfilter, intercoolerhosing (no leaks) and ECU logged fault codes. These are common and more or less easy to fix problems depending on your skills as a mechanic which most TDI's seem to get after a few years or above 150k to 180k. Nothing to worry too much about but if fixed the TDI runs so much better!
@UziTKD IS your Turbo working...i just fixed my car....was going into "Limp mode when it hit around 3 grand..... tuned out the wastegate was not adjusted .....befroe that prob my turbo was seized and the wastgate was sticking as well....new turbo and manifold for me :/
the same way as shown I think

Nice demo video -- I don't usually bother running it throught the fuel filter though.
fabfinn 2 years ago
why not just put it in the fuel tank?
jerktrucker 2 years ago
You can use it as an additive, but it's primarily formulated to be run straight into the engine for intense cleaning.
fabfinn 2 years ago
@jerktrucker Diesel Purge is specifically made to be fed full strength directly into the IP.

@jerktrucker Way too low cleaning concentrate and therefore too low cleaning effect...
