  • nice car, definitely one of the best years of the automotive industry.

  • Great car, great commercial

First year for what's known as the "fuselage"-styled Chryslers..

Some of the best-looking C-Bodies ever

  • My Dad bought one of these.......with a 383 when I was in high school. Was a luxury muscle car...then he got a 72 NY Bougham coupe 440....woof, was a beast in sheep's clothing!

  • what was the ex factory/factory price back in 1969?

  • bitchasses these days can't make anything like this anymore... smfh

  • I used to have one of these. Great ride and plenty of power. I bought it in 1989 and kept her for a few years. Unfortunately I live in northeast Ohio and rust eventually started to get the best of her. My mechanic bought the car for the 440ci engine to use in a race car. Could not imagine filling her with $4.25 per gallon premium fuel and the 10 mpg today. It had a 24 gallon tank so do the math. I guess if i drive a vehicle that get 10 mpg it better be a one ton truck.

  • One of the best Chrysler commercials ever.

  • My father bought a aqua blue Newport in '69.I will always remember the day he pulled out to pass a guy who was determined he was'nt going to be passed. Well, he was passed . I looked at the speedometer to see how fast we were going and didn't see the needle(120+).This experience I will remeber for a lifetime and will be the one of the reasons I will only own Chryslers.

  • good video. have any of you fellas saw the wow cheats pack on warcraftbotsXinfo (replace X with .) ? its incredible, i recently down loaded the pack. its got totally everything inside it, gold guides, bots, hacks, glitches and even the new arena glitch. i perhaps shouldnt reveal to people about this but at least it offers you all a reasonable chance to dl it before i own all of you

  • 1969 was the "fuselage" era

  • Was the Blues Brothers car a '69 Monaco?

  • @drewwestinghouse it was a 74 or 75 royal monaco

  • @Lumotaku Close. The bluesmobile was a 74 Monaco. The Royal Monaco was the hidden headlight version made from 75-77 or 78. All the white copcars in the movie were Royal Monacos.

  • Mopar owners are extremely knowledgeable. Many thanks. May Chrysler live forever.

  • I love that music in the background. Its almost hypnotic.

  • @Philip8510

The music is "Moments" produced by the jingle king Steve Karmen who was also responsible for the "I Love NY" campaign.

  • I believe the '70 had the hideaway lamps...

  • Comment removed

  • @drewwestinghouse Newports and New Yorkers had exposed lamps. 300s got covered lamps. Year isn't tne determining factor.

  • @drewwestinghouse the royals and some newports didnt have the hideaways. they were standard on 300s and newyorkers

  • @markbotv3 Uh. no Chrysler covered headlamps 68: 300 69 - 71: 300, Imperial 72 - 75: Imperial 76 - 80: New Yorker 81: New Yorker, Imperial 82 - 83 Imperial 84 - 86: Lazer 87 - 88: Lebaron Cpe/Cvt 89 - 93: LeBaron Cpe/Cvt, New Yorker except Salon 91 - 93 Imperial
  • I want to go out and buy one right now !

  • hmm..yeah, mine too :)

  • OMG I remember my dad bought this exact car when I was 7

  • hey policefan not only they dont make commercials like this any more !! they dont make cars like this any more!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah, i agree, i want that possible dream

my next car is a Chrysler because dreams

    do come true..

  • B-H

These cars deserve respect...they were built in a day before Socialist presidents and America bowing to Arab/Muslim world domination. Gas was less than 30 cents a gallon and these cars were mechanically bulletproof, nicely styled, and comfortable to ride in.

  • Right on!

  • My chrysler newport looks just like this one just its a hardtop roof which is even better :)))))

  • @gojoe283 I'll drink to that. I currently drive a 73 Imperial. 440 v8, 5300 lbs. indestructable transmission. Turns heads everywhere. I tell people, my car was made when nobody dared mess with the USA, and the whole world envied our cars and standard of living. While everybody drives a prius, I'm driving my little piece of America.

  • 萌え☆

  • You have to see these cars in person to get an idea on how freekin' big they were!

  • Yeah i kno my grandfather and i love old fashion car`s and he bought me this one when i turned 17 which was 3 months ago and i was amazed at how big it was its HUGE and i LOVE it

  • Love this commercial, I play it a lot! Still want one for my Chrysler collection!

  • You have to love the subliminal messaging "Your next car is a Chrysler."

  • I hate commercials

  • The Chrysler blue dream, beautiful commercial !

  • Back when cars had muscle and style and ya didnt have to worry about gas mileage the good old days

  • they make great demo cars

  • Your next car is Chrysler/GM merger!

  • Why didn't s/he sing "Your Next Land-Yacht" if it was indeed a land-yacht?

  • My next car will be a 69 Chrysler w. a 440 cui V8 and the dream is ..possible..

  • Strange commercial.

  • Did the car wash up on shore?

  • Thank for bring this back, It still my favorite! it was unavailable for a few days over the weekend! Now back on my "Favorites" list!
