yes it is a very difficult instrument and it is very small

good job man..keep it up..just make sure you work on your alternative picking cuz it looks like you're using all downstrokes.

Also, what make of mandolin do you have? It's good that you have an A-style mandolin, because for the cheap to mid-price mandolins, A-styles are about 30% cheaper than F-style mandos, yet there's no difference in sound.

thx man..yea well...the pickstroke theory is a problem for me..i'm a strummer by nature so picking in general does not come easy to me...although i can play it with the proper up down stokes i cant do it nearly as fast..my mando is an epiphone..i would like one like chris thile plays
