generation 3 is the most epic generation to me generation 3 and 4 are the best but 3 had great pokemon and i beat the game without legendaries or dragon types:Milotic,Zangoose,Blaziken,Aggron,Manectric and Absol those were the days and i always get this type of team

@thelucariomaster12 You're half right, but statistically it actually has some of the WORST pokemon by far. Pokemon like Aggron, Walrein, Flygon and Milotic are good but most fall below average in stats sadly. I feel like they deserved better.

Gold and Silver were laughably easy, at least compared to Red and Blue. Pokemon still being at lvl 10 - 14 after the second gym? The hell!? And don't get me started on the pathetic "trainers".
It seems most everything not pertaining to the elite 4 and champion was dumbed down horribly after 1st generation.
@sylxeria Red and Blue were much easier. All the "strong" trainers just stuffed their pokemon with rare candies, and it shows with how weak they are despite most likely overleveling the player. Whitney alone was more difficult than anything in Red/Blue. Gary "mother****ing" Oak shouldn't be losing to a level 40+ team when he has level 60+ Pokemon
It's been so long since I've played Red, all I can remember was that I was surprised at how slowly G/S/C pokemon's levels would go up in the wild compared to R/B. However, this is just going off my personal memory and personal experience playing the game so... :P
If you chose torchic as your starter in R/S, not E, When he evolves into Blaziken and has double kick and blaze kick, you are way overpowered when you face the elite four
@FlameDragon400 Funny you mention that. There was a coding in Red and Blue for you to be able to actually battle Proffessor Oak. He had a Tauros, Exegutor, Gyarados, Arcanine, and the fully evolved starter that was not chosen (Venusaur, Charizard, or Blastoise) And he was even stronger than the Champion. Tough stuff, man.

@Feldenstar Don't worry. No one cares about ubers. It's not even a word. If you're a true pokemon fan, you should be able to use any pokemon you love and want to use, legendary or not. :)
@Feldenstar I don't get why though. Legendaries make the battle more epic instead of sticking with all the other tiny pokemon. Plus it livens up the anime.
@Feldenstar It's generally not the best idea to run Water Spout with a boosting move, since you will take damage while boosting that will redice Water Spout's power. Surf has plenty of power after a boost to OHKO many of Kyogre's opponents, and if you can deal with the lower accuracy, Hydro Pump.
Unova doesn't have the worst themes at all. If anything it has the best themes, aside from Kanto. It just takes a creative mind to appreciate good themes in Pokemon that aren't just practically copy and pasted from the other games.
@okjoek1 He's using both Steel and Rock type equally, he has Skarmory and Metagross as Steels, Cradily and Armaldo as Rocks and Aggron as both. Also, he has Claydol.
I remember when Emerald came out I tried to beat the Elite Four with only Swampert. I don't know why, maybe I was expecting Steven to be the Champion again and I wanted an easy fight. But it took foreverrrr to get past Drake and Wallace xD

Hoen for sure had the best story (in my opinion) plus the elite four was unique however most of my favorite pokemon came from the sinnoh (or however you spell it) so if they made a remake of hoen with all pokemon much like heart gold & soul silver i'd get it in a heart beat
One of the aspects of Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald that I liked was you actually know your dad. All of the other games so far only have a mom. Future games should have your father turn out to be the Champion.

And you take a ferry to a previous region (johto, hoenn, sinnoh, not kanto =.=) and you meet him in a city, catch up and he challenges you.

My Meta-Game Team: Kyogre, Swampert, Machamp, Scizor, Rayquaza, Azelf. Please don't kill me for using übers. I only use two. And my Kyogre is so lovable (if you are not on the other team) Water Spout, Sheer Cold, Thunder, Calm Mind.

@Feldenstar Don't worry. No one cares about ubers. It's not even a word. If you're a true pokemon fan, you should be able to use any pokemon you love and want to use, legendary or not. :)

@Feldenstar I don't get why though. Legendaries make the battle more epic instead of sticking with all the other tiny pokemon. Plus it livens up the anime.

@Feldenstar It's generally not the best idea to run Water Spout with a boosting move, since you will take damage while boosting that will redice Water Spout's power. Surf has plenty of power after a boost to OHKO many of Kyogre's opponents, and if you can deal with the lower accuracy, Hydro Pump.

Unova doesn't have the worst themes at all. If anything it has the best themes, aside from Kanto. It just takes a creative mind to appreciate good themes in Pokemon that aren't just practically copy and pasted from the other games.

I actually like wallace better. IDK why. 2 of stevens pokemon arent actualy steel>.<
I have my own water monotype team based off of wallace and use it in fun fights all the time.

@okjoek1 He's using both Steel and Rock type equally, he has Skarmory and Metagross as Steels, Cradily and Armaldo as Rocks and Aggron as both. Also, he has Claydol.

I remember when Emerald came out I tried to beat the Elite Four with only Swampert. I don't know why, maybe I was expecting Steven to be the Champion again and I wanted an easy fight. But it took foreverrrr to get past Drake and Wallace xD

@Destnai Lol, juz like u I went in only with Swampert, but b4 I even reached Drake Glacia gave me a hard time already, Hail, Ice Beam, Blizzard...They cost me lots of Hyper Potions

Hoen for sure had the best story (in my opinion) plus the elite four was unique however most of my favorite pokemon came from the sinnoh (or however you spell it) so if they made a remake of hoen with all pokemon much like heart gold & soul silver i'd get it in a heart beat

One of the aspects of Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald that I liked was you actually know your dad. All of the other games so far only have a mom. Future games should have your father turn out to be the Champion.

@nintendonut999 It would be even sicker to have a dad that is a retired pokemon master, like Red in a way, but you soon meet him later on or after you beat the game. And you take a ferry to a previous region (johto, hoenn, sinnoh, not kanto =.=) and you meet him in a city, catch up and he challenges you.
I can come up with decent plot-lines when im baked

@nintendonut999 By the way, I noticed in Black and White that there is a hint that you have a dad because when you examine one of the objects in your room, it says something about your dad buying it for you. Can't remember the object though.
