There is always a person claiming they have that one of none rare car.

the L35 325 HP 396 was NOT AVAILABLE in 1969, just the L66 265 HP 2 barrell.

If you have the engine casting # on deck, display them. Also there is the vin on block telling what model the 396 came in.

this guy is way off, its an impala missing the moldings on the sides,with caprice rocker and trunk moldings, its not original, in 1969 there was no 396 with a 4bbl,they only came with a 2bbl! period! its called an L66 and is rare, total produced with L66 396 was only 6% of total production, all had turbo 400 trans. i sold mine in 2002 for 4,100 bucks and it was near mint original with 60,000 miles and way nicer than this. the reason he can't find info on it is because they never made it!

this car kinda dosent make sense, my 70 impala with a 350 2 barrel makes 285hp and they stopped going for horsepower in 69. also idk if the trim on the wheel wells and molding down the side was an option or not, normall the body has been repaired a lot and re painted and people just fill the holes where the molding was, idk little confusing i could be wrong?

This car was just on ebay for $5,500,this car has caprice rocker panel moldings,Impalas had a narrow one ,its missing its bodyside moldings which were standard,plus i never saw the decklid moldings on an impala, yet a sedan,nice car but strange.theres something to it if its down to $5,500.

i just needed the money then, i don't need it anymore. the car is a impala i just took the side rails off when i got it painted. it has a z21 option thats why it has the chrome panel on the rear trunk and front lower bumper

I have a 69 caprice Custom Coupe, Survivor60,000 original miles, 396-265 HP,T400, factory dual exhaust,buckets ,console ,posi,in all my research ONLY a 265 hp 396 was available,maybe someone just merely put the 325 hp air cleaner decal on it at some point,still all the numbers would match! cant believe it is a 325,

its called the Z21 option, it has chrome strips on the trunk and below the front bumper
