However, I remember the 2007 outbreak as well as the 2008 outbreak which was very devastating. In summary they are not a problem here like in the Midwest where I am from.

I also find them very interesting, but I have had a few close calls with funnel clouds (no touchdowns, but the clouds have passed nearby) and have been fortunate to never have any damage. Tornados are a proven Scientific fact , proven by scientists who some of which even believe in god. Tornados are created and controlled by our atmosphere, and only happen in ideal locations (Like Tornado Valley for instance)There isn't any god deciding to drop a tornado somewhere because some people are ready to die, if he did you would see them much more around the globe. Tornados are not asked for,given ,deserved or undeserved.They are a powerful force of nature everyone should take seriously.

@floridaroyalpalm wrong, thunderstorm prone state hurricane prone state but not tornado , tornados mostly form in oklahoma texas and any where in tornado alley very rare in any other state ,, only 8 here average a yr idaho , and when i lived in florida i never saw a tornado , ! so dont tell me anything about tornados unless your a weather man

Wow. I wasn't even hurt, because I live in Massachusettes. But, the tears I cried for these people were very strong. Don't blame God for doing this. It was Mother Nature. She brought a natrual disaster, to this wonderful land of Florida. Luckily, I ended up in Florida only in 2007 of Semptember. This was only Febuary. I am so sorry for the people we've lost. :''(
