  • what a black beans

  • wackk

  • *Learning to dance like man in silly hat*

  • I can't compare him to anyone. Nor would I want to. So glad Beans makes music.

  • week beats sloppy vocals try Crown City Rockers-Simple or even K-OS paper cutz for that matter.

  • @chukfunk felt like i was on the twilight zone on here. how can people not feel that? His lyrics are so off, i'm sure if you sat dude down he wouldn't deny it that he did a lazy job with this recording.

  • real black hip-hop!!

  • looks like a usher yeah video but mad dope song!!

  • beans has got to be the only guy i can think of who can get away with air guitaring and air drumming in the same video.

  • いいすね!

  • This dude can dance

  • amazing.

  • beans is the shit!!! NO ONE can write ryhmes and deliver them the same way he does! Just like antipop consortium he is PURELY ORIGINAL!! Which means CANNOT be COMPARED TO ANYONE!! (sorry for screaming just wanted to make that point1) haha

    respect. peace.

  • 32 second mark, Love it!

  • Iwasn't talkin' bout performin but about livin'. and what does this proof? I don't know, ever tried to make it there?

  • wel, dear jux I guess thats why you're locked down in Dc while he rocks nyc

  • spoken like someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. What does performing in NY prove?

  • @felixkaspar last i checked, i can travel anywhere in the world. who's locked down? what are you even talking about? oh i get it, you just had to say something. If you like him, you like him. i don't feel this track in the slightest, and that will never change even if i was "locked down" in dc.

  • @felixkaspar co-sign

  • i took a second look at it to make sure i wasn't wrong....this guy would get laughed at if he came down to dc

  • I call BS, he'd draw a great crowd of people who appreciate unique music, like he would anywhere else.

What the hell do you know, anyway?

  • is it okay for us to have a difference of opinion? Someone sent me this link and i wrote what i wrote...relax....he's not being effected by my comments...its okay to disagree...nobody's dying....noones gonna rush your room and snatch his poster off your wall..its okay...

  • Dude, can the BS, you said he would "get laughed at if he came down to dc," which basically implies people aren't going to dig him just because you don't, and that's a pretty arrogant claim to make....hence my question: What the hell do you know, anyway?

  • @jux55 then why has he played DC so many times in his career? huh??

  • @sucramnipp

Where in dc? Georgetown? or on a bill with less prominent groups? Did he perform with De La Soul, Kev Brown, at a Beat Society,....maybe he opened up for Wu Tang or Raekwon? okay ..maybe he was down here during the Rock The Bells Tour? Either way, my opinion still stands. Even if he was my friend I'd tell him that the track is dope but maybe he should reconsider changing those lyrics. I'll look at it ONE more time just to make sure i'm not being too harsh.

  • @jux55 what does any of that even mean? so you have to open up for those artists & play those tours in order to have a rep in D.C.? what are you talking about. if it means anything, i saw beans perform in nyc a few weeks ago (with edan opening up for him. assuming you're from the dmv area, you must be familiar with edan, right?). dres (black sheep), damon dash and members of tv on the radio were in the attendance. honestly. does he have respect now? is he "DOWN"? does that give him "rep", now?

  • @jux55 he'll be playing in dc tomorrow night (5.09.11). i'll let you know how many people laugh.

  • @amybrooks22

Cool. You do that. Tell Ardamus i said whassup.

  • @jux55 okay, so no one laughed. but mostly because only 5 people were there. ardamus left for amsterdam today. you know him? wait...do i know you??

  • @sucramnipp

i got to 26 seconds and i had to pause. You have to lack soul in order to enjoy this. I listen to avant garde jazz, broken beat, dub step, trip hop, etc. and anyone with rhythm would feel the inconsistency. it shouldn't sound like he's off beat and off pattern. El P, Pharoahe Monch, Breezly Brewin, Twista, Busta rhyme with different styles and the common ground is an understanding of music. Heres another question, what is he talking about???

  • @jux55 lol, the irony of (some of ) this comment is that he's collaborated with monch, el-p and breeze in the past. and as far as what he's talking about? you could apply that SAME question to more than 1/2 of the rap music. im sorry beans doesnt fit in to a safe lil' mold for you. to each his own, i guess. they're just abstract lyrics. thats his style. maybe's hes just rhyming for that sake of rhyming words. like i said before, many rappers before & after him do that same

  • Bomb!

  • i saw him in balin

big up - i like it

  • it's hot, but i don't think everyone is going to appreciate it because it's not how your used to.

    some would say it's.....DIFFERENT. omigod.

  • i hear ryhmes...knockbox just because it isn't some rhyme scheme for every verse than a repetitive chorus about nothing doesnt mean its not good.

  • @JohnBadgerPro what is he talking about?

  • damn how good!

  • Nice flow, sick beat & I love the video.

  • the beat is dope, the video looks dope....uhhh...maybe if Mos Def, Sean P, or someone else was on it. i don't know

  • 'for those that know',wanker..:p

  • so now i have to like everything you like not to be a "wanker"...? you're one those people who swallows any and everything someone throws at you...such a pawn..grow a brain

  • He called you a wanker because you suggested a more mainstream rapper should've been on this track, which was indeed a quite wankerish thing to say, as was your generic response to him.

  • Sean Price? Mos Def? mainstream? are you serious? okay then Kaimbr, Cy Young from Low Budget.....Sekani Williams...geez... Mental Da God....is that non mainstream enough for you?

I suggested a more skilled emcee. Someone who knows their way around a beat.

  • "Knows their way around a beat"? Man you're full of it. That's entirely arbitrary. Beans clearly knows his way around a beat, it's just not the same way as the other rappers you mention. If you want that then listen to them...no reason to slight this guy for doing his thing.
