  • Great to see the outside of these places. I got some good video from outside Cane Hill Asylum in 2006 :) thanks for the video! :)

  • it cannot be knocked down because it is a grade II building, however, they are making into a hospital, go on the nhs website and search it, don't know if they will but get there before anything does happen!

  • Hey, this is funny. Here in Denmark, (europe) Near Norway and sweeden, There are also abandoned warehouses and houses and stuff, but they are more filled with graffiti and spray paint cans. Accually all over there are som many that you keep stepping in them!!!

  • i think its a shame its getting knocked down, its been there as long as i no!!!

I htink they should use the land for summet better than houses tho. Something like a sports centre or swimming baths or summet like that. Something the People of goosnargh and longridge and other places can take advantage of!!

  • It's only getting knocked down in 2010 because of the way the the market is at the moment. There are underground tunnels but they do not leave the grounds of the hospital. All patient records were removed in 2006, they used to be in the basement of admin.

  • Is the underground tunnel anything to do with the secret nuke bunker?

  • lol that's not why! They can't build it until at least part of the Broughton Bypass is built. Thems the rules.

  • Getting knocked down in 2010,why that long?

  • because *apparently* theres a shit load of old NHS Documents that need to be filed and updated underground, i heard theres a tunnel leading to somewhere, its pretty secure
